The anti-Israel tent encampment at Columbia University is being led by a cohort of controversial student leaders — some of whom express solidarity with Hamas and say “Zionists don’t deserve to live.”
These students are the ones negotiating directly with leaders of the Ivy League university — holding campus hostage with dozens of tents and hundreds of protesters splayed out on the lawn in Morningside Heights.
One of the most prominent faces in the protest camp is Khymani James, a spokesperson for Columbia United Apartheid Divest, which is demanding that the university divest from any company that does business with the Israeli military — which includes a wide swath of the Fortune 500.
James — who describes himself as queer and uses the pronouns he/she/them — made headlines this week for a resurfaced video that showed them saying that “Zionists don’t deserve to live.”
James issued a half-hearted apology, but placed the onus of the controversy on “far-right agitators.”
Hours later, he was banned from the school’s campus, a school spokesperson confirmed Friday.
Columbia did not make it clear, however, whether barring James from the campus meant he was suspended or permanently expelled.
The school also declined to comment on whether the student had been, or would be, disciplined for the remarks other than their banishment.

When Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) visited campus on Thursday — with her daughter, suspended Barnard College student Isra Hirsi, in tow — she was spotted shaking hands with James.

I’m not sure the world needs a “Columbia University.” If they wind up destroying it completely, what is the loss? It would be a good lesson for others.
I do not understand the reasoning these wusses running these schools are taking with regards to these Terrorist Supporting thugs. EXPEL, ARREST PROSECUTE... why is this so frikking hard?

Ergo, they support the protestors, whether they admit it publicly or not.

Let’s remember these are still basically children, and should be treated as such. When they act like responsible adults is when they deserve to be treated like responsible adults. Not before. The ones who really need a knot jerked in them are the school admins who encourage and support this behavior. Expelled the students, arrest and fire the activist admins.
Deport the whole lot to Israel and let them execute them.

This is still a free country and non-violent protesting is a right. BUT it is always a mistake to underestimate your enemy...and that is what these "children" are.
It’s all those foreigners that are taking over our schools. That and women. I have come to the conclusion that women should not be in charge of schools or government. They cannot be trusted to be leaders for all and not for the few. Always doing things through emotional actions and not thoughtful discourse. I know, I know, not all women are that way. But as a woman, I have seen too much of this toxic femininity that is taking over too many of our institutions. Mostly from the left. You see the protesters on these campuses and there are a lot of white women participating. What’s up with that??
I hope they burn the place to the ground. They created the anti American swine and now they can deal with them. I guess it’s not so fun when the mob turns their hate on you. The university and their brainwashed minions deserve each other.

I find it ironic that James who describes himself as “queer”, supports an organization that openly kills gays.
