Scottie Scheffler has two green jackets in three years.

Jordan Spieth’s Waterloo seemed like it happened right here in 2016 on Sunday on the 12th hole. He went from leading the Masters to a quadruple bogey - scoring a 7 on the par 3 and losing. Seems like has never been the same since. I've been saying that, too. I watched and rooted for him since he was a rookie phenom, but that hole on that day broke something in him.
Oh, and he got married later that year, so there's also that.

Among those who made the cut, Tiger Woods came in dead last.

and he got married later that year, so there's also that.As did Rickie Fowler, didn't help his game either. It was reported that when asked about Tiger breaking his major record Nicklaus responded by saying once Tiger gets married it will be more difficult as your priorities change.

Come in 60th place, and get $40,000? I'm in the wrong business. It sure beats a juice box and participation ribbon!

"Tiger Woods came in dead last.
Yes, but he did make the cut."
Yes, and for a record 24th consecutive time.

Lee Trevino once said that Jack Nicklaus was the best family man and the best father he had ever seen in the professional golf business.
Even when I was a young man, I thought that was a remarkable observation.

Tiger Woods was just +1 in his first two rounds.
Fifteen guys were tied at Even or -1.
The wheels came off on Saturday when he was +10 (82).
He had a lot of company.
On Saturday, five guys shot 80+.
Nine guys shot 78+.

I hear you. Although, Tiger Woods is second with five green jackets.

Nobody talks about young Woods’ going from a skinny kid to bulking up on steroids. Like Barry Bonds. A shooting-star hero who crashes and burns.

Nobody talks about young Woods’ going from a skinny kid to bulking up on steroids.Nobody talked about his many many many many sexcapades either, because if they did he would cut them off from access. Tiger also did other questionable medical strategies, like blood spinning etc. For me, he cannot hold a candle to Jack.

Jack was and is a class act.
Tiger was an exciting golfer to watch but his life is a miserable failure and certainly not exemplary.
Tiger blew it. Steroids makes people literally crazy.

How about Bryson Dechambeau? He got so big he couldn't control it, so he's slimmed back down.

I thought Bryson Dechambeau began as a weight lifter who nobody thought could play golf.
Doesn’t have that “puffy” steroid look to me, but I know a lot times weightlifting and steroids go hand-in-hand.

Could have been weight-lifting.
Whatever it was, he became too big to manage it and began wildly hitting his drives.

Yeah, Saturday was rough. And yes, considering his overall physical state, he is still a pretty good golfer - better than a lot of guys barely half his age.
Despite his obvious personal failings/issues over the years, he is still one of the greatest golfers of all time. Just look at the list of his PGA tour records - in his prime, he was ridiculously good.
