Surveillance video shows a man going into a convenience store and seconds later, a huge razor-sharp saw blade flew across the parking lot and embedded into the door frame. The blade, which was being used to cut concrete, came loose from a nearby construction site and spun at incredible speed right into the store.
I hate out of control saw blades.
Yikes
Time to ban all saw blades.
Apparently the author doesn’t understand the difference between razor sharpness and just the ability to cut or hewn something.
That thing had some mustard on it 😏
True but chances are if that thing woulda hit dude it would have been a mess
Dude should buy a ton of lottery tickets in that store. It’s his lucky day.
Yeah, it’s a masonry blade they were using to cut concrete. The actual edge of the blade is blunt, but cuts concrete because of its hardness.
Wow, good thing that man wasn’t standing Stihl.
Saw that coming.
a cutting edge solution!
That’s very good. I liked that.
Haha. It sure did
I was walking on a street in Cambridge Mass. with a friend of mine many years ago, back in the ‘80s. We were walking past a construction site; there was a huge crane there, very tall.
As we walked by it, there was a loud bang, or crash sound, and I could hear a clanging sound. We turned around, and there was this cylindrical metal rod skittering across the road toward us. It hit the curb about ten feet behind where we were with a loud, musical clang, like an anvil being hit with a sledgehammer.
It was about three feet long, and five inches in diameter. It looked sort of like a pin that would have held two sections of the crane together.
I walked back to get a closer look at it. It appeared to be smoking, like it was very hot.
Before I could reach down to touch it, a huge guy with a hard hat on came dashing across the street. He was wearing leather gloves. He picked it up right in front of me, and carried it back to the crane on the double.
If you had been walking with your friend in the ‘70s you might have had a chance to dodge the windows that were falling out of the John Hancock tower.
I think this man’s Guardian Angel was working hard that day.
Well played!
