There is certainly no reason, at this late date, for ANYONE to believe the Dhimmicraps are a) living up to their Oaths, b) protecting the American People, and c) doing anything but destroying this once great Nation.
They should all be arrested, tried, convicted of treason, and hung by their necks until dead. But, of course, they own the judiciary, so...
Your #21 describes very well a structural defect that will not lend itself to a band-aid remedy, and it is right in front of us.
You can correct me if I’m wrong but I think Reagan backed the 1983 SS tax. You can’t blame just the Dems for that.
LOL - good one null.
“You can correct me if I’m wrong but I think Reagan backed the 1983 SS tax. You can’t blame just the Dems for that.”
True, but it was bipartisan supported legislation and there were extenuating circumstances surrounding it. Given that, Reagan did what was necessary, not necessarily what he ‘wanted’ to do as a Conservative.
As for the viability of SS, considering how hard the left is trying to melt us down, hard choices will have to be made by the next Republican regime (assuming that there will be one). Choices that will be blamed on the GOP only, and used by the left as ammunition, per usual.

Snip:
Claiming that Reagan imposed the tax on Social Security benefits ignores that it was a widespread bipartisan effort, passed easily and quickly with overwhelming support by a Democratic House and Republican Senate. Why did it have such bipartisan support?
Social Security Amendments of 1983
By the 1980s, Social Security was in big trouble. Starting in 1975, SS expenditures exceeded revenues and its reserves were close to being exhausted. It was anticipated that, without legislative action, it would not have been possible to continue paying benefits on time beginning in July 1983.
