Show them this:

1983
DEMOCRAT Dan Rostenkowski sponsors a tax on 50% of SSI retirement payments.
DEMOCRAT Joe Biden votes for it.
It passes by veto proof majority.

1993
DEMOCRAT Martin Olav Sabo introduces a bill to impose taxes on 85% of SSI retirement payments.
DEMOCRAT Joe Biden votes for it.
DEMOCRAT Bill Clinton signs it into law.

2024
DEMOCRAT Joe Biden runs a campaign add telling seniors that he's always had their backs on Social Security.

He's certainly got your back, do you feel the knife?

Then ask if they see a pattern of DEMOCRAT Biden's policy towards the elderly useless eaters.

Democrats in general and Biden in particular fooled you twice and he's going for #3!

Will you fall for it yet again?

Bidet’s elevator didn’t go to the top floor, back then, too. Once a moron, always a moron.

Senior citizens are the hardest to get to understand anything. They think they know it all. And I am 66 years old.

71 here. Perhaps enough will understand their own wallets talking?

Any senior who buys food understands more taxes on SS payments equals less food money, even if they don’t, won’t, can’t understand the hidden inflation tax.

I don’t think that’s true. If they won’t or can’t understand, unless they are cognitively compromised, being a senior has nothing to do with it - they’ve probably always been that way. There are plenty of young people who refuse to understand things.

(I’m 70.)

So glad we have ONE person over 66 looking out for our interests. Thank you!

I saw a rat when I saw Jacked-up Joe’s behavior during the 1991 Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearings of Clarence Thomas. Biden along with 45 Democrats voted against Thomas’ confirmation. It was a close vote of 52–48 for confirmation.

Biden and a lot of other Democrats were absolutely horrible to Clarence Thomas. It came across to me as pure racism attempting to be disguised.

I’ll save your post to use the next time I hear “Republicans are going after your social security!”.

Please do. I’m considering printing it out on business card stock, such as Avery 8877...

There are plenty of young people who refuse to understand things.

That often requires a college education to know so much you can't see...

At this point, I doubt that any amount of Conservative votes will make any difference. It was really bad in 2020 but now they know what to do to make millions of votes go away much easier.

We lose our vote each time an invader is added to their list.
Plus felons, everyone bribed or threatened. You know the list.

Why don’t you have that printed on a tin can? That way we can continuously kick it down the road.

I’m 81.

Reading Rostenkowski’s name reminds me of the House of Representatives bank, post office etc scandals. The democRATS and RINOs were furious. Before Gingrich, they could write, cash checks at the House Bank for thousands more than they actually had, and later ‘make good’ on the funds.

I can just imagine Rostenkowski in prison. Many of his ‘friends’ did exactly the same thing. Rostenkowski did not go to prison for check kiting. I believe it was misuse of funds.
