And yes,I did Boston to Montreal...and back...on a tankful (810 highway miles).
Just under 6000 pounds! Therefore, Weight / Power = 8.7 which is nothing special. Corvette Z06 Weight / Power is 5.4. My 1968 Ford XL (fullsize) is 8.9. I sure don’t want to have anything to do with a 6000 pound car. Think of that mass trying to make a corner at speed.

I happened to be 2nd in line at a red light on an open, rural road a couple months ago. The car in front of me was a Tesla Plaid. Driver must have punched it into Ludicrous Speed when the light turned green, because it just flat disappeared into the distance. I’ve always been pretty quick on the pedal, but I wasn’t out of 1st gear before I lost sight of the Plaid.
With this aftermarket custom vehicle, if you can afford to buy it, you can afford to buy it just to cruise around on Sunday. Not made by Ford...special company called "Charge". Does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, goes 200 miles, and costs about half a million to buy...:)
If you can buy one, then you can buy it just to look at.
I did notice-a lot of the car websites seem to say things like "Like it or not, cars are going electric...". Almost all of them. I would give them the finger and tell them to KMA.
510 km= about 311 miles...
Who needs a muscle electric car to only go 311 miles?
Perfect for around town and tiny day trips and errands..so yeah drive a hot car for errands...harrumph....
A gas car getting highway 30 miles per gallon with a 16 gallon tank goes 480 miles.

I understand the electric car loses lots of range when quickly accelerating...plus the battery gets very hot and the battery longevity suffers. But they can unwind very fast.

yep, and that accessory is called the Vroom Box ...

Seriously, I agree. Cars of let’s say the 80’s and before had a slight oil burn smell from the exhaust when the engine was gunned. Also oil seepage from the gaskets on the engine had an odor when the engine got real hot. I actually liked both odors and equated the odors with the hot rods I had in the day.
What is the range before that 8 hour charge?
