STOP THE STEAL
DuckDuckGo Search Results | 3/11/24 | DuckDuckGo

Stop the Steal "Stop the Steal is a right-wing campaign in the United States promoting the conspiracy theory that falsely posits that widespread electoral fraud took place during the 2020 presidential election to deny incumbent President Donald Trump victory over former vice president Joe Biden." - Wikipedia

TOPICS: Computers/Internet; Conspiracy
KEYWORDS: fakenews; stopthesteal
If you do a “stop the steal” search on most search engines (I use DuckDuckGo), it will return a list of articles/sites, which unanimously carry water for the democrat party. None of the articles listed on my search return mention democrat voter fraud in the 2020 and 2022 elections. ALL of them gaslight the subject, listing articles showing that Trump plans to steal the 2024 election or that “stop the steal” is a right-wing false conspiracy theory. The list my search returned included sources/websites from: Wiki, CNN, New York Magazine, The Atlantic, Washington Post, The Guardian, Newsweek, Politico, Time, Bloomberg, NY Times, NBC, AP-NEWS, LA-TIMES, NPR, BBC, The Dispatch, Britannica.com, MSN, NPR, Salon, Rolling Stone, Huffpost, Vox ... etc.

When you see the array of rich and powerful liberal anti-MAGA sources that the public is exposed to, it's overwhelming.

What was painfully obvious was that the DuckDuckGo search on “stop the steal” returned zero articles that expose democrat voter fraud in 2020 & 2022.

Anti-American, anti-America, anti-Christian owned and operated media/news corporations have been lying to the American public for decades. They and their money have been in firm control of institutions that have the power (and do) change minds. Corporate news, our education systems, social media, Internet search results - are all in the mind control business.

Merely complaining and bringing this issue to light does not mitigate the problem. Have we reached a point where anti-America, non-government institutions like the 4th estate now control and dictate to our elected representatives? Are we too far gone to recover from those who hate our republic? Prayer is essential but scripture tells us that faith without works (action) is dead. What will it take in terms of strategy, organization and action for (conservative, Judeo-Christian, anti-globalist Americans), to replace gas lighting institutions - with voices of objective truth?

DuckDuckGo is just a front end to Google. It strips out meta data that Google uses for marketing so that’s their shtick. All you’re doing is seeing Google results in a different location.

“rich and powerful liberal” - there’s nothing classically liberal about Stalinists. And that’s all these thugs are.

The day before the SOTU, I did a duck duck go search and the first twenty sites were all left leaning sources. NYT, Wapo, Atlantic, Politico, etc. Way down the list was Foxnews, and after that more leftwing sites.

Time to find a new search engine (again)

So all these jerks will use phrases like “the lie the election was stolen”, or “confirmed that there was no mass fraud”.

The HUGE problem for them is the using BASIC LOGIC, it is impossible to prove a negative unless you examine all or most all the votes to actually prove the negative — that there is NO mass fraud. That’s why we can’t prove the absence of God because we cannot examine all the universe to be able to say so.

Rembember, you cannot say there was no mass fraud unless you systematically can prove all of most of the votes were actually legitimate.

DuckDuckGo is just a front end to Google.

That's not true. In fact, they have fought each other in court more than once. And unlike Google, they do not track your movements on the web.

Excellent comment with troubling questions. It would appear that any attempt to breach the bulwarks of
Democratic/Communist hegemony are met with fierce oppression (see FBI/CIA/NSA search for one-thousand plus more 'trespassers' at the Jan. 6 set-up.)

One might suppose that anything short of rebellion will be met with internment in the DC Archipelago.

Furthermore, what would a rebellion look like? Maybe, if patriots held their collective breaths until they turned
blue? (pun intended.)

Time to find a new search engine

Are there any 'objective' search engines that won't skew results to reflect left-wing propaganda?

Oh Good. He switched to Bing. Now I feel better! No political bias at Microsoft!

When DDG started out it was a Google front end. So they switched to Bing for whatever constellation of reasons, part of which you mention. But the net result is the same: you’re going to get ranked results that follow the hard Left bias of the so-called tech world.

DDG doesn’t have the money/resources/patents/brainpower to come up with their own competitive search engine; the other guys are too far down that road. It will take some entity with far more backing to pull that off, and would probably end up with something with no real competitive advantage, other then a lack of bias. Personally I think that would be enough and maybe Brave would do it, but the capital to go there would be rather large and thus hard to justify.

That's not true.

How do you account for the DuckDuckGo search results for "Stop the Steal"? All the results were sources spouting left, democrat talking points.

No. Not that I know of, yet.
I just tried Brave search, for “State of the Union”. The results were similar to DuckDuckGo. Whitehouse.gov, Wikipedia, The Guardian, BBC, NBC News, WaPo, NYT, AP News, Axios, CNN. There was no FoxNews, let alone any Breitbart or Epoch, etc.

The problem is that these search engines think they are being objective, because most of the above news sources are among the biggest, at least in perception, if not in circulation.

I didn’t say there wasn’t a political bias; only that DDG is not a portal to Google. The real benefit is that DDG doesn’t sell your internet history on the open market like Google does. If you use gmail, read your license agreement. Not only can they read your emails, they can sell that information to whomever is willing to pay for it.

IMHO part of the problem is the phrase "stop the steal".

As others have already posted, there is an issue with even search engines like Brave and DuckDuckGo depending mainly on Google's search.

But part of the problem also is it's the left that more often uses the phrase "stop the steal" -- when talking about Americans with a healthy skepticism of the 2020 election processes. However, if you search for "voter fraud" like I just did with Brave:

https://search.brave.com/search?q=voter+fraud&source=desktop

The very first result is a link to the Heritage Foundation's vote fraud database. Of the top 10 results, less than half seem to be of the leftist narrative. Half are conservative, with a few "official" sites defining what voter fraud is.

Yandex

Yandex gives similar left-liberal sourced search results.

Major media sources and left/liberal: producers, opinion writers and news hosts are entrenched and well funded. Is there anything short of civil war that can change this? Would changing current law, which doesn't hold the 4th estate civilly and criminally liable for their lies, half-truths, slander and libel - need to be changed? Think Russian hoax, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSN fake-news and Joe Scarborough rants filled with lies. Same question for laws that allow our legislator to bald face lie in Congress - think Schiff. Do they need to change?

Does it shock anyone that those who deny that the 2020 election was stolen (in part by manipulation of digital voting systems) would RIG their digital information systems to deliver their version of events and bury others?

The question in my mind is, to what degree are US government entities, funded by US taxpayer money and debt, a root cause of the election theft, and the leftist spin of internet searches?

The question in my mind is, to what degree are US government entities, funded by US taxpayer money and debt ...

The answer is "a very high degree." Many of our government institutions that should be apolitical are controlled by and weaponized by the democrat party. FBI, AG, DHS and DOE are a few that come to mind. There are also non-government institutions like NPR, PBS and Planned Parenthood that are sucking at the teat of the government, i.e., we the (conservative) taxpayer are funding institutions that hate us. Anti-Christian, anti-Conservative control is so pervasive and entrenched in our government, institutions and society - it will take a change of heart in people, a conversion if you will, and possibly a revolution/civil-war to change things.

There was a time when pagan Rome, the most powerful empire on earth, persecuted Christians. There came a time when that ended and Christianity spread throughout the Roman empire. History tells us there is hope for America.
