I put gas in my car a couple of days ago. Like 2 minutes versus the better part of an hour charging an EV. I got better things to do with my life.

Or…. Folks are wise enough to know , a technology in its infancy is not worth investing in. If the media actually reported the pitfalls of fully EVs at this juncture , theyd sell even less.

Atlantic Writer "Credits" Slow Electric-Vehicle Sales on Donald Trump
Sounds to me like Trump is working with and for the American people. Americans don't want those burdensome vehicles.

At some point the editors need to say no to insane articles such as this. Electric vehicle sales disasters are not the fault of any politician, though some can be blamed for trying to force them on the public.

Is there anything Donald can’t do?!?

He makes electric cars more polluting, more expensive, less reliable, less useful, and more dangerous than gasoline cars, thereby causing consumers to pick different vehicles!

Amazing!

Andrew Moseman like other writers at the Atlantic have one viewpoint , one path, and one filter.

In short, they’re narrow minded anti-intellectual jerks.

Who cares what they think.

Does anyone know how many electric vehicles it takes to bring the power grid to its knees?

In the UK greenies are blaming actor Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) for the drop in EV sales. Here’s Atkinson telling the plain truth. It’s what got him in trouble.

This reminds me of the old USSR under Stalin. Insanely stupid programs failed not because of poor planning. They failed because of “wreckers”. These poor souls were nothing more than unfortunate scapegoats.

Stalin shot his wreckers. We just try to cancel them. No executions (so far, anyway).

No matter how insignificant and unimportant one may feel, one can always tune in or read our modern “journalists” and become reassured that there are folks out there who are at the bottom of the intelligence and morality list...far, far below any level of depravity that we could reach.

50 years ago, the push was to recycle. I just looked up "how much recycling is recycled" and the return from the Duck Duck Go search was dismal. According to sources like Scientific American and National Geographic and greenmatters.com, not a lot actually gets recycled.

And it's even worse, because the experts listed above refer to something called "downcycling", which is the name for recycled stuff that actually turns into new stuff. Nobody is offering an estimate of that, which is the whole point of recycling.

So now there is a new profit group that calls itself Green Energy, which I'm guessing will get the same kind of results; a replacement of activity for action, more government, more fees and spending, and no real results.

I suppose when the Next America gets back to a free market environment, that market will reject electric vehicles the same way the Original America rejected them, and for the same reasons. I most likely will not be around to see the results in person, but St. Peter might provide some access to current news so we can monitor how things are going.
