Why all the expensive and sophisticated parts then? Wouldn’t a near empty shell of a tank be more appropriate for show (and much less expensive)?

The Ukrainian army was developed by NATO for use as target practice for the Russian army.

Funny how a multi-million $$ tank can ce destroyed by a $500 drone. Russias combined armed forces, excluding strategic forces, have been decimated by a weaker country. This is a war of attrition, and Russia will win but be left with a Vietnam.
