When a person has or maintains a false belief or judgment about overt and objective external reality, and holds such views in defiance despite unquestionable authentication to the contrary, clinicians and therapists appropriately describe this as delusion and reflective of some form of mental disorder. Delusions are beliefs that are plainly untrue and that indicate an abnormality in the affected person’s content of thought. More problematic is these individuals are positively assured that the delusion is real.

I wish someone would confront the left with these facts- put it plainly to them, and make it known that they are defending the indefensible when they demand that society take the mentally Ill and their delusions seriously and treat them as though they were factual.
I suspect though that many don’t actually have delusions but just ,ove to be contrary, and want to force society to accept their rediculous contrariness. Consider the following by Theodore

Yes- absolutely- good point- They couch their attacks on the mentally ill by claiming it is ‘humane’ and ‘healthy’ to allow them to be whoever they want- but as you point out nothing could be further from the truth- and they know it and don’t care- it’s all about the $$, and not about helping them get better-

How? Frist, you underestimate their numbers. They have infested govt, media, military and education systems worldwide. They have billionaires on their side financing them.

Believing you are something that God says you’re not, something your DNA confirms you’re not, is pretty well covered by steps 1 and 2.
