Your scenario may be more likely than mine (”auditioning for the VP slot” on the Dem ticket. (See my post below) But it’s clear she has become something of a figurehead of the Uniparty-—she certainly knows she has no chance against Trump as a Republican. I don’t think she’d be hostile to most of the Democrat Agenda, so they’d have a safe bet with her as standard bearer OR Veep.

Your reply to another seems quite to the point. On this Nikki Haley thread, anti-Trump sentiment is in evidence. The "Queen Bee Of Propaganda™ recently posted to another thread an op/ed by Ben Hodges, who campaigned for Biden against Trump. There are a number of FRs who employ a variety of what they think are "subtle" strategies to politic against Trump.
