After all, Tucker was interviewing in Russia. Maybe he wanted to make it home.

But he didn’t ask any tough questions.

I’ll ask you one more time mister president, who was the lord factor in charge of herrings in Novgorod in 1327, and if you continue to evade my question, I will storm out and you’ll look like an idiot.

At another article I saw here at Russia Search, Putin is quoted as saying he would prefer Biden as President, as Biden is a more seasoned politician and would be better to negotiate with. Interesting all the switches and flurries.

* Last photo I saw of Trump and Putin showed Putin very pleased with what Trump apparently was saying. Now, Carlton, no, Biden, yes???

* Trump has been pushing for a wall. Rs and Ds finally crafted a compromise bill with some improvements over the current border situation. Now Trump apparently wanted the House Republicans to vote no. So no improvements for months and months???

* Russia has been pushing hard at Adiivkha, but has lost another big ship off Crimea, below Sevastapol today. Meanwhile Trump has suggested that if NATO won’t pay its share (about time), Putin should have at it. Today NATO reports significant improvements in various countries payment levels. Is that why Putin is mad?

And by the way, Chris Robinson has posted another plea for funds. Apparently so, far between $30 and $40 thousand has been raised. I believe I saw a while ago that it costs over $80,000 a month to finance FR.

the video of the interview is up, I never have defended one of our Nudge Brigade ‘members’ before but this isn’t in any doubt - this was briefly discussed during a longer interview.

I don’t know what TC likes to do other than work, but he would be well advised to stay around people and not go off on any back country activities by the sound of it.

In any case, that interview was not a big hit on the Biden people, I suspect its views are mainly from people already convinced Biden is no good, and also the interview wasted about 75% of its time on material that was probably tedious and boring for less political folks tuning in (I found it interesting and revealing even though obviously it was slanted to Putin’s agenda).

So who knows, this deep state (which is hiding in plain sight, it’s hardly a secret) obviously likes to reach out and touch people, TC is no great threat to them but more of a threat than almost anybody else since so few people do threaten them in any obvious way.

His first question, “Why did you invade Ukraine,” may not have been tough, but it is pertinent and was grounds for an extensive response. At one point Carlson interjected, “I don’t know how that’s relevant.”

Our legacy media, when they “ask tough questions” of conservatives, begin with a false premise and goad the interviewee incessantly. Carlson is a refreshing break from that, although I think he knows how and when to be adversarial. He would be a terrific press secretary for Trump.

It’s got to be bad when Putin himself complains about Tucker being a Putin fanboi!
