Boston TV stations are airing “exclusives” this Valentine’s Week about area residents taking illegal aliens — refugees in wokespeak — into their homes.
The Boston CBS affiliate’s exclusive — from Brookline — began:
With state shelters at capacity and images of migrant families sleeping at Logan Airport, the Stokes family said they knew they had the means and wanted to step up.
“The family is lovely. They are so appreciative. It has been wonderful,” said Jessica Stokes.
When Colin and Jessica Stokes called the state to sign up to be a host family, it took less than an hour for the displaced migrants to be dropped off at their door.
“I was like I have to get sheets on the beds. How many people are coming? Where are they from? What ages. We really knew nothing,” Jessica said.
“The need is so clearly overwhelming,” Colin said.

High illegal immigration is about keeping wages down for services the liberal uses. The liberal does not care about what happens to the person who is earning insufficient wages. The liberal also doesn't care what happens to his fellow American who cannot feed his family because of suppressed wages.

I don’t know about Boston but there are a lot of places where if you do what this idiot family did you become for all intents and purposes The Landlord and they become The Tenant. That is if they don’t rob you blind and decamp or murder you in your sleep.
We will look back and call it modern slavery.
I believe that woman who took in a family of Haitian refugees is already bragging how it is like having a gourmet chef.
I wonder if the female crimmigrant is cleaning her house and weeding her flower bed as well.

1. Rights of All Rooming
House Residents
No matter how long you have lived in a rooming
house, you have the following rights:
The right to report bad housing conditions
(see Chapter 8: Getting Repairs Made).
The right to a hearing in front of a judge
before the owner can evict you. You do
not have to move out until a judge says
you do, and only a constable can physically
remove you.
The right to ask a judge to hold off on
evicting you until you find another place to
live (see Chapter 12: Evictions). Although
a judge is not required to give you extra
time, it is within their discretion. It will be
harder to get more time if your eviction is
for non-payment of rent or a reason that is
your fault, or if you have lived in the
rooming house for less than 3 months.
However, if you need more time, ask for it.
a. You Cannot Be Locked Out
If you legally occupy your room—which means
you moved in with the permission of the
owner—the owner cannot lock you out of your
room or the rooming house. If the owner asks
you to leave or gives you an eviction notice (notice
to quit), you do not have to move out. After an
owner gives you a notice to quit, she must file a
court case and get a judge’s permission to evict
you.
If the owner locks you out or attempts to lock
you out of your room or the rooming house, the
owner has violated the law. If you have to go to
court to get back in, a judge can order the owner
to allow you back in and can order the owner to
pay you money (damages) equal to 3 months rent
or more.

Well, there are probably some illegals that might be grateful. But you must remember that they are here illegally & if you take them in you may have just created a lot of trouble for yourself. Hopefully you have not, but this certainly would not be true in all cases. Will you be willing to make sure that you get them to court when their case comes up? Maybe they have friends also here illegally & want to invite them in where they are “encamped”. Are you ready for that? On the whole, I think the better idea is to try to get these folks back to their country of origin & maybe start all over...this time doing it legally instead of the Biden way.
Is this Boston’s new “Cousin Eddie Program”. Couldn’t read the whole thing. Are the “hosts” being paid to “step up” and take them in? After a week, they’re going to start smelling like dead fish. And then there are the risks of one of them getting injured on your property. Hopefully the boyz and gurls in Boston are paying to retain a lawyer to be on standby.

True ownership of property means the owner is in control of that property. With that control obviously under tenant control why would any investor build or invest in the first place? Just open the garbage can lid and toss your money in! Why bother with the fiction otherwise?
My radar tells me that Colin and Jessica Stokes are rat party members who were paid mucho bucks to take in a pair of CIA operatives. The whole thing reeks of a potemkin village facade.

No doubt I’m being awfully old-fashioned about this, but if these illegals are facing rampant corruption in their home countries there is another solution.
We could train these military-age intruders, give them surplus M-1 Garands (I’m sure we have a few of those in storage) and load them onto ships. During the voyage we give them oodles of ammo and drop them on a beach somewhere.
Give them a chance to fix their own countries instead of bankrupting ours.
Will minimum wage laws apply to them?
