This interesting mountain is called Shiprock. As you can see there are no roads near it. The closest town to it is Farmington , New Mexico . From there I was only able to see the tip at the top. Bummer.

Farmington is a somewhat upscale suburb west of Hartford, CT. It is next to the totally upscale Avon, CT, where OJ is known to be searching for his wife’s killer.
I saw that a few years ago. Pretty neat.
I’ve driven by shiprock at least 5 times. I used to love the 4 corners area.
