Police raid sprawling $4.3 MILLION L.A mansion overrun by 'squatters' after complaints of all-day raves and revelers stumbling around Beverly Hills neighborhood - just around the corner from Lebron James and John Legend's homes

A dramatic police raid descended on a raucous Beverly Hills 'squatting' mansion that has been plaguing its celebrity neighborhood with nightly rave parties.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a home invasion shortly after 3pm Friday at the $4.3 million mansion, the site of a number of out-of-control parties that began in October.

Despite counting Lebron James and Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane as neighbors, police had been seemingly powerless to stop the continuing raves - until Friday's incident reportedly included several suspects armed with a knife.

It appeared that one of the all-day parties was going on at the time, with a number of guests seen handcuffed and lined up on an outdoor patio after cops breached the home.

All detainees were later released, and no charges were brought, according to KTLA.

The mansion was owned by alleged fraudster and suspected killer Dr Munir Uwaydah, who fled the US in 2013 amid an investigation into the murder of his girlfriend.

He had been accused of swindling Medicare out of millions of dollars, and was last reportedly living in Beirut.

The property was repossessed by Uwaydah's mortgage lender and is currently on the market for over $4.5 million, but has since been taken over by 'squatters' who claim they are the valid tenants.

DailyMail.com revealed this week that the suspected hard-partying squatters include a man accused of beating his ex-girlfriend, and a frequent visitor was also involved in an alleged multi-million-dollar student loans scam.

Since October, the sprawling estate has hosted wild, near-nightly parties that often don't start until 2am.

The 'squatters' are even advertising rooms in the four-bed, 5,857 sq ft home on Booking.com for $300 per night and charge hundreds of party guests $75 entry fees at the gate.

Even after the police are defunded, mansions still get service.

claim they are the valid tenants? Wouldn’t lots of tax return(s) of who ever claims to be the head squatter be sufficient?

They probably have a forged lease and the police don’t want to bother with chasing down the truth.

A while ago, I happened to search the term “squatter’s rights.” In Kalifornia, squatters have more rights than the owners. Lawyers assist the squatters with their ‘cases.’ If a squatter pays a utility bill, it can take forever to get them out. Perhaps LeBron will recommend to the squatters near his home to join the Uighurs, making more $$$ for LeBron.

One home owner came up with a unique method to reclaim his property. His mother passed away, and two people took up residence in her home. The squatters moved their belongings into the home and acted as if everything was normal. The homeowner eventually learned that both of the squatters would leave each morning. The owner went to the home after they had left, moved all their belongings out onto the driveway, changed the locks, and called the police. When the squatters returned, the owner presented the Title of the house to police. The police smiled, almost to say “well done” to the owner.

The police got involved only because it happened to the elite, the favored class.

The rest of us just have to suck it up.

Writing in this piece is horrendous. For example:

...Friday’s incident reportedly included several suspects armed with a knife.

%%%%
My question: Was it one huge knife that several persons were holding onto simultaneously, or was it a knife that was passed around among the “several suspects”?

I'm not sure if the Beverly Hills PD was ever defunded.

Don't confuse Beverly Hills PD with Los Angeles PD. Different cities, different police policies.

I’d do that, but leave the door unlocked for them to meet me, prepared to defend my home.

This sort of crime has become common - trespassers/burglars break into a vacant house. They have a phony lease. They change the locks. The real owner calls the police. IF the police even bother to show up they look at the phony lease and say he has a lease this is a civil matter take it up with the courts. The police cars all have computers and they could check with the register of deeds to see who really owns the house, but it’s too much work so the police leave and the owner has to spend thousands in legal fees and wait months while the squatters trash the place, steal everything that’s of value, run up water and electricity bills etc. before the court directs the county sheriff to evict the squatters. Meanwhile the owner is out legal fees, the loss of property that the squatters stole, and the usual massive repair and cleaning fees for the damage the squatters leave behind. Not unusual to find rooms with feces and urine all over the floor. Walls torn apart to steal the copper pipe and electrical wiring, appliances stolen and sold. You get the picture.

You can’t sue the squatters because they have no assets.

Moral if you have vacant property install a monitored alarm system it’s a lot cheaper than dealing with squatters.
