I don’t see any “head-and-shoulder-above-the-rest” choices. Everyone has skeletons or drawbacks. Maybe Kristi Noem? I’ve never heard her speak, so I can’t pass judgment on that criteria.

Trump cannot govern in 2025 if he cannot win in 2024. So Job One must be to pick a VP who can most help Trump win.
If that’s RFK Jr. then go with RFK Jr. End of story.
But I don’t think it’s RFK Jr. The Kennedy name is magic in some circles. But better would be a clever and likable conservative woman from a swing state. Who that woman is, I don’t know yet.

There are no Reagan Democrats. They voted for Reagan and have voted Republican ever since.
The Republican Party today is a blue collar party. Even more so since Trump took it over.
This would be catastrophic. If democrats were to return to control of the House in 2027, they would immediately impeach Trump again. RINOs in the Senate would join all the democrats and vote to remove him from office.

They probably can do focus groups and nail that down precisely but my gut is “not much”.
Then there is the question of how would she handle herself if she had to be President?

I don’t expect most FReepers to understand or agree wt this, but if Trump doesn’t win, it won’t matter who Is VP because te country will be finished. Conservativiism should not be be a consideration- only getting Trump elected. If RFK Jr. can provide a cheat-proof margin then he should have the support of every American patriot.
