Rick Harrison, one of the chief talents on Pawn Stars, revealed that his 39-year-old son, Adam, died from a fentanyl overdose that he blames on the border crisis.
Rick confirmed Adam died of a fentanyl overdose in a statement to Fox News.
“Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” Rick said. “The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”

I guess a lot of people are too stupid to just say no to drugs. It’s not like they’re a novelty in this country.

I do think drugs coming over our border is a genuine issue. But nobody is putting a gun to people’s heads and forcing them to take the drugs. Addiction is a symptom, not the disease.

Do you pick them up ? Does the thought cross your mind that they might be drug money tainted with enough fentanyl on them to kill you ?

Never knew that. All I knew about was Corey. But them again I just used to watch the show, & I was never interested enough to learn more about them personally. 😋

Since the killing dose for an adult person is the size of the head of a straight pin-— HOW could this be an “overdose”?
IOW it was an INTENTIONAL dose of a deadly likely illegally imported chemical agent. Anaesthesiologists can speak of the dosing of fentanyl for use in major surgery— and how dicey this can be.
This dude, getting high, killed himself.

Actually I have. And one of the cornerstones of treatment was owning up to your mistakes. The ones that did best were the ones that took ownership of their part in the addiction. Drugs are a symptom of a greater illness in our society. People are using drugs yo fill holes in their lives. But they just make new and worse holes.

Additionally, people haven’t dealt with chronic debilitating pain that doctors refuse to treat. No excuse but it is life in a fallen world.
