Honestly, what could be more humane? You go to sleep and never wake up. There is no pain, which some death row inmates actually deserve.

I once walked into a pressure vessel filled with nitrogen before the nitrogen was fully purged.

I was out like a light in seconds .

Probably the most humane way to execute a criminal.

Too humane

If it works this seems to be a promising technique that would survive judicial scrutiny.

Some prefer Yellow Mama and I joke about it but nowadays I actually prefer a method such as you describe.

Exactly. Anyone who objects to the use of Nitrogen as an execution method just plain objects to the death penalty. There are a number of OSHA regulations concerning businesses that make use of Nitrogen in their processes because if you walk into a room filled with pure Nitrogen, you just die without even knowing that you are dying.
