We are living in a time when nearly all the media shares the same pronounced bias and is willing to cater to it such that ALL their news conforms to their bias. If something isn't in line with their bias, it doesn't exist.
When individual people share that bias and then watch news that's tilted to their bias, the bias gets strong...really strong. Once a bias gets really strong, that's all people can see.
It's plain old "confirmation bias" that's beefed up to an extraordinary degree.
Romney is an example of that phenomenon.

Romney’s sons were very involved with Hunter Biden and Paul Pelosi in the Burisma/Ukraine corruption scheme. Nancy Pelosi and Mitt Romney fear a new Trump Administration with a competent , aggressive Attorney General. They have been using the old ploy that a good offense is the best defense. Both are corrupt and fear that they and their kids are very vulnerable.
