As they were boarding it in rough seas, around 8 p.m. local time, one SEAL got knocked off by high waves and a teammate went in after him. Both are missing.
The team boarding the small boat was facing about a dozen crew members. The crew members, who were taken into custody, had no paperwork, which allowed a search of the vessel. The weapons were confiscated, and the boat was sunk, a routine procedure that usually involves blowing open holes in the hull.

Not really. They are human beings. They have been known to do things like break their backs while hot dogging in Mark Vs. Shit does happen, and when it does, it is usually at the worst possible moment.
Of course we are all humans, but these humans have gotten specialized training in the water. Sometimes they will do hot dog things, and sometimes it may result in a problem for them. That also stems from youth & a sense on invincibility. There is absolutely no indication that was at play here at all.
