Words.Fail.
NBCUniversal is owned by Comcast.
I can only wonder that Comcast/NBCUniversal missed the chance to sign Dylan Mulvaney. There's still time.
Are there any sports fans left on FR? Fewer by the day, I imagine.
Everything touched by television is being subordinated to the cult of celebrity worship. Everything.

My question is: how many people still watch NBC? With cable cutting being a trend in 2023, is there still audience reach?
As for the Olympics, my ex was a huge watcher. Not me.

I recall coverage of the winter and summer Olympics in 1984 as being quite good, then it started sliding downhill with every successive Games - becoming more about entertainment and “Oprah moments”, and less about sports. Now throw DEI into the mix. It’s over.

Unlike the more popular than ever college football-
normal folks are tired of watching selfish ungrateful spoiled Olympic imbeciles.
Slush funds in college football are nothing new.
American Olympians hating the nation is mostly new.
I imagine that despite the immense and growing popularity of certain sports, including here that folks imaginations may run wild in confirmation bias to the contrary.

Watching Snoop Dog is like waiting for the stoned guy at the party say something stupid or funny.
Its amusing for brief periods, but gets old fast

I really don’t watch the Olympics. Unfortunately I don’t think adding Snoop will bring viewers in. He doesn’t bring anything more in my opinion or make me want to watch it.

I don’t get his attraction. Pretty much anyone seeing him walking down the street toward them would cross to the other side. But in my town, both the liquor store and an optometrist have posters of him hawking their products.

Yeah... well.. that is not going to entice me to tune into The Olympics. I am sick and tired of the urbanization of our culture.... if you get my meaning.
