Thankfully, my family took it a little better.
Over the summer, a mainline water pipe burst under the road on our street. I don’t know how long it was gushing under the pavement. I came home from a family reunion to water percolating up through the seams in the street. I called the city to fix it.
Three weeks later, the front corner of my house dropped by nearly 2 inches. The corner of my driveway caved in.
Total bill is $20K to fix the foundation, repour the driveway, fix the sheetrock and mortar, and replace the cracked tiles in the foyer.
Nothing under the tree this Christmas. Hopefully, we can get the kids gifts for Valentines.

I saw it on the news, the ‘fine young men’ looks like they are mid 20s, not teens. I wonder where they got the guns? I bet it was from Travon’s Car Trunk Gun Shoppe and not from an FFL gun store.
I fear because of promiscuity, people are having sex between cousins, or even closer, and they don't even know it, since their family heritage is so scattered.....I think the IQ's of these people are decreasing exponentially because of the inbreeding...

I’ve heard that the most formative years when it comes to acceptable behavior are closer to 3-5. By 12,a kid is long gone; it’s over.
