Very fine observation. My bride and I were legal residents in Germany before her retirement, and moving back to the states. I worked in many European nations and will tell anecdotally that there is precious little enthusiasm in the workaday populace to actually go to war in a land battle. In addition to the weak arms manufacturing of simple things like ammunition, one recalls that the Germans had to play war games with broomsticks replacing rifles when Ursula von der Leyen was Merkel's defense minister.
Public sentiment for the US to empty out cash and munitions is one thing across Europe, while sending their lads and lassies is a VERY different thing. Mobilizing? I suspect what is being mobilized is a fiction that a land war against Russia for Eastern Ukraine is something Europe really wants. Politicians? That's one thing. But the hoi-polloi is quite another.
Besides, NATO is making all sorts of "green" climate change noises, so it's not a "fighting force" in the moment. But it's got a nice new building, said Trump.
I can’t listen to Jones or Beck anymore.
Why? They have been wrong too many times. I quit listening to Beck when a decade ago or so he started talking about imminent famine (and coincidentally started selling emergency food kits).
With Jones I stopped when many years ago he started issuing warnings about upcoming genocide of all conservatives, that secretive concentration camps were being built, that strange code words directing NATO forces were written on highways and overpasses. That doesn’t even count his claims of the Sandy hook shooting being faked.
Now after saying that they do have some valid opinions and concerns that are definitely authentic and pressing like open border immigration.
