First of all, I would like to recognize the warriors of our mobile firing groups today.
Last night alone, during the latest “shahed” attack, 18 drones were destroyed. That’s the majority. And most of those destroyed were the result of mobile firing groups. This is how it should be. I thank everyone who trains the warriors of such groups and who works to provide them with everything they need. Last night, the mobile firing groups in Mykolaiv, Kherson, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kirovohrad regions worked well. I am grateful to you guys personally, and to everyone else who is on duty every day and every night in various regions.
I would also like to recognize the Air Force servicemen – our pilots, engineers, anti-aircraft gunners and air defense units of the Ground Forces. Warriors, your vigilance and accuracy are the resilience of our entire country and our cities.
Today marks an important result for Ukraine on the international stage as well. Particularly in the International Maritime Organization, which last week removed Russia from its governing bodies. Today, the Assembly of the International Maritime Organization adopted a resolution in support of our efforts in the Black Sea – Ukraine’s success in restoring navigation and establishing a new “grain corridor”. By the way, this export corridor has already yielded results – more than 7 million tons of cargo. And this is very significant – it is our economy. It’s not just the work of ports and agrarians, but also of many other related industries. Millions of jobs in Ukraine depend on the exports that our country is able to provide. I extend gratitude to everyone worldwide who assists Ukraine in this matter. In particular, the International Maritime Organization will now support our efforts, and there is a corresponding decision to assess the technical assistance we need for the proper functioning of the sea corridor. Latvia proposes to ban imports of Russian grain to EU countries

In Latvia, amid criticism, the issue of banning grain imports from Russia to the EU and allowing it to be transported only in transit for export to third countries was raised.
This is reported by Delfi, as Censor.NET cites the European Pravda.
According to the Border Control Department of the Food and Veterinary Service, 382,800 tonnes of grain from Russia entered the EU through Latvia’s border in 11 months of 2023. Currently, imports of Russian agricultural products are not restricted by EU or Latvian legislation. It is not known exactly how much of this grain remains in Latvia.
In this regard, Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture Kęstutis Navickas said that Russian grain was not entering Lithuania, and one of the Lithuanian agricultural associations called for tighter control at the Latvian-Lithuanian border to prevent grain from Russia from entering the Lithuanian market.
“It is a shocking situation that Latvia and possibly other neighbouring countries are importing grain from the aggressor country. No one knows exactly where it comes from because of the lack of control,” said the head of the Lithuanian Grain Producers Association.
Latvian Agriculture Minister Armands Krause initiated a discussion at the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Committee on a ban on imports of Russian agricultural products to the EU. The position is shared by President Edgars Rinkēvičs.
Krause believes that the time has come for the EU to ban imports of Russian grain to its market, but to retain the possibility of transit of Russian grain to third countries, so that this step does not worsen global food security.

Video footage showed plumes of smoke billowing into the sky on Sunday night. Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported that a fire at the facility has since been extinguished. The news agency made no mention of any casualties. Luhansk is a city in the eastern Ukrainian region of the same name which Russia unilaterally annexed in September 2022. Ukraine is yet to officially comment.

On the instructions of the President of Ukraine and the Head of the Presidential Office, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva started the first round of consultations with the Deputy Secretary General for Peace, Security and Defence of the European External Action Service Charles Fries on the EU’s collective security commitments.
These consultations followed up on the G7 Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine of July 12, 2023.
“Ukraine’s future membership in the EU serves as a robust assurance of security for our nation and the European community as a whole. We greatly appreciate that at this stage we are already discussing concrete steps to enhance our collective security and strengthen Ukraine’s resilience,” said Ihor Zhovkva.
During the consultations, the parties exchanged views on approaches to future security commitments from the EU, focusing on the security and defense segment.
The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office noted the significant contribution of the European Union to strengthening the security and defense capabilities of our country, in particular by supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the European Peace Facility and the activities of the EU Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine.
On behalf of the President of Ukraine, Ihor Zhovkva presented Charles Fries with the Order of Merit, III class, recognizing his significant contribution to strengthening and supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Major General Vladimir Zavadsky, deputy commander of Russia’s 14th Army Corps, has been killed in Ukraine, a top regional official said on Monday (December 4). The governor of Russia’s Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, said Zavadsky had died “at a combat post in the special operation zone,” without giving further details.
The investigative news outlet iStories said Zavadsky was the seventh Major General whose death had been confirmed by Russia, and the 12 senior officer overall to be reported dead since the start of what Russia calls its ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine. Zavadsky was a much-decorated officer and a former tank commander, said Gusev, adding that his death was a heavy loss that caused “transfixing pain.”
Respectfully, this is America. Christian America. Our history does not include ‘GLory’ to anyone other than to God. All Glory to God.

Day 649 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.
The russian federation continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine. The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, conducts strikes, and shells both military and civilian targets.
The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.
During the day of December 4, there were 61x combat engagements.
The enemy launched a total of 5x missile strikes, 44x air strikes, 37x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. The russian occupiers launched another attack on Ukraine with 1x Kh-59 guided missile and 10x Shahed-136/131 UAVs. 6x enemy drones and 1x Kh-59 guided missile were shot down. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential buildings as well as other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
VOLYN and POLISSYA AXIS: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.
SIVERSHCHYNA and SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA AXISaxes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Around 20x settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Klyusy, Prohres, Serhiivske (Chernihiv oblast), Atynske, Myropilske, Hrabovske, Porozok, Popivka (Sumy oblast), Chervona Zorya, Pletenivka, Krasne Pershe (Kharkiv oblast).
KUPYANSK AXIS: Ukrainian defenders repelled 10x enemy attacks in the vicinities of Synkivka and Petropavlivka (Kharkiv oblast). The adversary launched air strikes near Petropavlivka, Pishchane (Kharkiv oblast) and Novojehorivka (Luhansk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10x settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).
LYMAB AXIS: Ukrainian defense forces repelled 8x attacks in the area of Serebryanske forestry, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), and Terny (Donetsk oblast), where the enemy with air support attempted to force Ukrainian units out of their positions. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Spirne and Vyimka (Donetsk oblast). The occupiers fired artillery and mortars at around 10x settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Yampolivka, Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnokamyanske, Spirne, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).
BAKHMUT AXIS: Ukrainian defenders repelled 9x attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka and Andriivka (Donetsk oblast). The enemy launched an air strike in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar (Donetsk oblast). Around 15x settlements, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, New York (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
AVDIIVKA AXIS: Ukrainian defenders repelled 15x attacks in the area east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sjeverne (Donetsk oblast), where the enemy was making unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses. Also, the invaders launched an air strike in the vicinity of Oleksandropil (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at around 15x settlements, including Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Karlivka, Netailove, Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).
MARYINKA AXIS: Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy, who, with air support, launched 14x unsuccessful attacks on positions of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinities of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Pobjeda, Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast) were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.
SHAKHTARSKE AXIS: the adversary conducted no assaults. The occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Urozhaine, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). Around 10x settlements, including Vodyane, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske, Rivnopil (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
ZAPORIZHZHIA AXIS: Ukrainian defense forces repelled all enemy attacks near Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast), where the enemy made attempts to regain lost ground. The adversary launched air strikes near Novodarivka, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast). Around 20x settlements, including Levadne, Malynivka, Zaliznychne, Robotyne, Pyatykhatky, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
KHERSON AXIS: the enemy fired artillery at the settlements of Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Dniprovske, Novodmytrivka (Kherson oblast), as well as the cities of Kherson and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv oblast).
Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their ground on the left bank of the Dnipro River (Kherson oblast) and inflict fire on the enemy.
During the day of December 4, Ukrainian Air Force launched 10x strikes on concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, and 2x strikes on air defense systems of the occupiers.
Ukrainian missile troops hit 3x concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 2x air defense systems, and 7x artillery systems of the russian invaders.

There is no power shortage, no power supply restrictions are applied in any of the regions
POWER GENERATION AND CONSUMPTION
The power system is balanced. Electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.
Two units and two sections of TPPs are out of service for short-term repairs.
Reserve capacity is used to ensure the necessary production volumes. An additional 1 unit at TPP has been brought online from reserve and 2 more TPP units will be connected during the day.
There are no restrictions in any of the regions. All outages are due to weather and hostilities only.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.68 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
INPORT/EXPORT
Electricity imports yesterday totaled 892 MWh. No exports were made.
