Former Republican presidential candidate and outgoing Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) said he would vote for a Democrat if former President Donald Trump or political newcomer Vivek Ramaswamy secure the Republican nomination.
CBS News host Norah O’Donnell asked the retiring senator for his preference in the 2024 Republican presidential field.
“Anybody. I’d be happy to support virtually any one of the Republicans, maybe not Vivek, but the others that are running would be acceptable to me and I’d be happy to vote for them. I’d be happy to vote for a number of the Democrats too. I mean, it would be an upgrade from, in my opinion, from Donald Trump and perhaps also from Joe Biden,” Romney answered.

Keep in mind his niece is heading the RNC. I posit her job is to keep the Uniparty in power, and if that includes 'losing' to Democrats, so be it.

He just called himself out as a RINO, someone who would vote for a Democrat rather than a non-RINO Republican. (I don’t support Ramaswamy, but he brings some of the right questions to the table.)
That right there gives credence to Ramasaway who I think at this point Trump should pick as his VP - the presumptive presidential frontrunner in 2028. If the Left hates him, he must be doing something right.

Mitt Romney only became a Republican when, wanting to enter polictics in Massachusetts and knowing he’d be up against Ted Kennedy in a primary election, he registered as and ran as a Republican, and lost.

Romney has been voting for Democrats all along. He deliberately gave the presidency to one.
What would surprise me is if Mitt has ever voted for a Republican besides himself....

And is someone whose entire financial setup is OFFSHORE, as in the Panama Papers. Now he is leaving to put some other Moron Tablenapkin Choir member into the Senator from Utah seat== he feels free to comment, as Pierre Delecto or whomever. He is such a disaster in magic underwear, who amazingly was gov of Massassachusetts, with it’s “blockbusting” socialist state Romneycare.
Who MARCHED with Black Lives Matter (demonrat front for ActBlue DNC fundraisers) for.... the Fentanyl DEALER George Floyd, who couldn’t breathe because of the overdose he took in— and NOT from any police sitting on his neck- it did not happen and the LAB results from the trial proved this. But— no matter grease boy is down for the count (famously in fear telling his own constituents “you’re not wearing a mask”- as if that would matter. A real fool tool liar).
He can potentially facilitate damage to this country in the year he has left. And because he is 'retireing' (more likely because he was convinced he'd be primaried), he might go scorched earth.
