Yeah, duh. Disney is just making marvel movie #52.
Women don’t turn out for comic book movies, they are geared for young males.
Disney thought the mostly-male audience of Marvel movies would love to see a “strong, all-powerful” woman defeat Thanos and save the universe.
They thought wrong...(as they do about so many other things, re: “new, improved and woke” Snow White - which has been delayed until next year and possibly indefinitely.
“M SHE U” is dead
I like the Marvel movies for the most part but I really don’t care for this Brie Larson and I figured this one to be a real ugh fest, staying away from it.
Women were too busy watching the WNBA and women’s soccer... no, they weren’t doing that either.
It was always going to be a flop. Even among comic book nerds, nobody liked Captain Marvel, and nobody ever demanded a whole team of Captain Marvels. It was always a lame hero and lame idea, but they couldn’t resist trying to make this into a “feminist Avengers”.
[[alienate fans by taking a dump on everything they once loved about that franchise]]
Ain’t that the truth! The industry seems hell-bent on taking a dump on society as we knew it in the “cool years”- and when the movies predictably flop, or fail to take in as much as other non woke movies, they all sit around scratching their heads wondering why.
That is the motto of the left ie “dump on everything that society loves...” out of jealousy and a desire to dictate in tyranny
The radical lez left doesn’t realize that normal women don’t want to see their men insulted and degraded. The women who do buy this crap will die alone. Unloved and unwanted
production budget $274.8m
worldwide opening weekend $88.5m
certified stinks on ice.
Wpw, that is shocking and so very unexpected.
This movie is woke and dull. Far too predictable. Total chick power flick.

Why not see 3 lesbian super heroes....
Hollywood, always refusing to learn lessons, is blaming the dismal box office performance on the recent actors strike with their inability to do promotion.
