Who is the brain that thought casting such an ugly skank to be Snow White was a good idea?
There was a time long ago, when fat, grotesque, unattractive actors were cast at best, in low level supporting roles.
Now, if they have the right skin color, they are given leading roles, regardless of looks and appearance. All in the name of woke diversity, despite how much money the studio loses.
This is a break with business wisdom that has worked since the beginning of time (i.e., the customer knows best).
This kind of arrogance on the part of management demonstrates just how deeply Marxist indoctrination has penetrated our culture.
The idea that management can dictate to customers is similar to the Marxist idea of central planning wherein a handful of bureaucrats plan the lives of the population.
Central planning has always been a failure. It is amazing that otherwise successful business executives don't know this.
BTW, the idea of listening to your customers is a function of "the wisdom of crowds." It's the underlying principle of "democracy" (I guess that's why Marxists don't understand it).
Disney should have gone all in like the ‘The Wiz’ from the 1970s with ‘Snow Whizzle and the Seven Homies’.

Lady and the Tramp
Pinocchio
Bambi
Pocahontas
Toy Story
...
And of course, Fantasia.

If you saw it and wondered why there was a giant mechanical spider in it, it is because one of the producers believes that spiders are the scariest thing there is, and insisted on there being a monstrous spider (in this case mechanical) in the film.
But Disney shouldn’t worry, their Snow White reboot will probably win the Oscar for Best Picture, no matter how much of a turd it is. After all, “The Shape of Water” won Best Picture a few years back.

Another reason is DailyWire’s remake using BrettCooper. It is timed to come out soon as an actual remake, not some commie trash “reimagining”. It will be like “sound of freedom” and stomp any competing film.
Disney+ is a trash outlet and chickened out, rightly so.
