This kind of arrogance on the part of management demonstrates just how deeply Marxist indoctrination has penetrated our culture.
The idea that management can dictate to customers is similar to the Marxist idea of central planning wherein a handful of bureaucrats plan the lives of the population.
Central planning has always been a failure. It is amazing that otherwise successful business executives don't know this.
BTW, the idea of listening to your customers is a function of "the wisdom of crowds." It's the underlying principle of "democracy" (I guess that's why Marxists don't understand it).

Isn’t it funny how democrats and liberals think that if they demonstrate sonething to us or tell us what to do that everyone will fall in line and do it. AND be better off for living like the democrat wants us to live?

I have discovered that the companies I own stock in who are doing poorly have high ESG ratings. Some have a VP of diversity. To find out what’s what just type in the search engine the company name/ stock chart and ESG and/or diversity. After reading the company diversity or ESG policy click on the five-year stock price. You’ll find those companies with high ESG and diversity ratings have at best, mediocre performance. I’ve dumped every ESG stock.
Honeywell even talked about its environmental lending policies. That money is thrown down the toilet. It should have gone into growing the company. It was money stolen from the shareholders. Clearly these companies are violating their fiduciary responsibilities.
