True story: I know of a gay man who says he is very far to the right (I won’t say his name). According to him, the likes of Jane Fonda, Rob Reiner, and Anthony Fauci are homophobes, and also according to him, heterosexual privilege is real, and he has a problem with straight men existing.
The government suppressed it was predominately gays. They knew it would be harder to obtain funding. That cost lives because it killed a whole generation of hemophiliacs. The government trashed people who wanted to have their kids avoid contact with those who had aids. The government had no problem with avoiding people without the Covid vaccine.
You sure are pushing the homosexual/alphabet agenda here lately with your old articles.
These ..... journalists...thinking they are telling the definitive story. The population was and is so clueless they actually think the journalists are always correct.
People knew that hypersexual practitioners were dying of some strange disease in early 1970’s. Famous case of guy ( supposedly a “closeted gay” man) died in 1971 of unknown disease. They had saved his tissue specimens and rechecked them for HIV once they knew it was a virus that caused AIDS. his tissue tested positive...from 1971. Info hit the media in the 80’s or 90’s, than was buried. Now some “journalist” is telling the whole story. Has to beg for money cause they can’t make money being comprehensive in their reporting.
The funny thing about then was that herpes was all the rage.
I was at Homestead in the early ‘80s. We got a lot of mileage out of the nasty little mosquitos that a hurricane blew in from Haiti...wondering if they’d recently fed on any gay Haitian junkies. Mean little suckers. If you got sweat on the jets, they’d attack it.

I remember reading something somewhere that said that one of they key “ground zero” events that started the spread of AIDS was a house party of (male) flight attendants right around the Bicentennial, which was of course long before any of us ever heard of it.

I also heard that it originated out of Africa, and yes, I believe it involved growing the batches of vaccines in simian cells. It then jumped into humans via the vaccines. If memory serves, “Patient Zero” was a homosexual flight attendant who brought it to the US, in St. Louis (??) I believe, and that’s where it all started.
Interesting. I was in grad school in SF when AIDS hit. One of my favorite classmates, an incredibly handsome young man, was one of the first in the city to die. Everyone in class wondered whether we’d be next because we didn’t know what it was or how it was spread.
The girls in the class were relived when we learned it was spread by gay men.
Unfortunately, since HIV immunosuppression from HIV can be bettercontrolled with the correct medications(plural) and the strict dosing schedules, syphilis, and HPV, and monkeypox is still being spread among hypersexual practitioners. If they miss the diagnosis of syphilis and don’t treat...that is potentially life taking in the long run. (See tertiary syphilis)
In Subsaharan Africa is was spread by heterosexual truckers using the prostitutes on their routes.Many practiced anal “sex”. Anal “sex” whether hetero or homo is gonna be better at spreading it than “vanilla” sex.

I recall it being in papers that up to 10% of the Haitian population jn the US had “it”, and speculation that being Haitian predisposed one, genetically, to catching it.
Later, the samples were found to be heavily weighted to known, high risk groups within the Haitian community; i.e. iv drug users, promiscuous, homosexual, hemophiliacs getting copious blood products that were not screened then.
I knew an older woman whose husband received unscreened blood transfusions during heart bypass surgery. He got it, passed it to her thru sex, died from it, then she died too.
They changed their candy name from AiDS to AYDS. It didn’t help. Out of business.
Now that I think of it, I wrote the first brochure to promote Fauci's AIDS drug to doctors and pharmacies: AZT (azidothymidine). Probably millions of those brochures were sent out. It's a typical kind of assignment a science writer gets.
Like the 2021 clot shot, AZT wound up killing a lot of people--it was very toxic, with nasty side-effects. Fauci's touch since then seems to have gotten more deadly, if possible--like a science-fiction plot. Say, some gross, foreign THING that grows inside the patient's blood vessels and consumes him. Obviously way too far-fetched to be believed. . .
Back in the AZT days, I was a kid in my 20s, paying for my cheap Manhattan apartment. To draft the AZT brochure, I interviewed a bunch of scientists who described on the micro level how the drug was supposed to work--as far as anyone knew.
But what's the deal with Mephistopheles--I mean, Fauci? Please pray for the people who have taken his drugs, and also for those who in good faith made (or promoted) them.
