Why do people want elitists to control every aspect of their lives? How many EU regulations are there for a toothbrush? Something like 100...which must be met for a toothbrush to be sold in the EU.
As I recall, after the breakup of the USSR, the US was the only superpower nation in the world and the Clinton/Albright team believed that was not good for America and so they played a major role in developing the EU so that we have a major competitor. I read Madeline Albright’s book many years ago and it seems to me she spoke some of which I just said.
