Bodybuilder and former Mr. Olympia competitor Neil Currey is dead at the age of 34.
Milos Sarcev, Currey’s former trainer, announced the news Monday on Instagram, calling it “absolutely shocking” and “heartbreaking.”
The cause of death is unclear, although initials reports claimed Sarcev’s Instagram post indicated Currey died by suicide. However, Sarcev’s initial Instagram post has been edited and makes no mention of suicide.

Used to be when a young person died outside an automobile you suspect drugs, then suicide, then homicide in that order. Now a days you have to mix in the clot shot.
This was suicide. So normal death pre Covid.
The bodybuilding world is a world full of hedonists, egomaniacs, drug users, drug abusers, and vain idolatry.
I’m surprised the suicide rate isn’t higher considering the fact that almost every single bodybuilder I’ve known was manic depressed.
