Your OP comment was equally confusing, but I agree in principle that the mugshot boosts him rather than their intent of hurting him.

A story from “the Art of the Deal”.
Trump demolished the Bonwit Teller building to build Trump Tower. He originally agreed to preserve some art deco sculptures on the first storey, but because of delays and extra cost he had them demolished.
There was an outcry led by preservationists and the NYT against Trump. Trump admitted it was a mistake, but he noticed that every negative story was a variant of the idea that he had destroyed priceless sculpture “To build the world’s most luxurious building.”
So every hit piece actually promoted Trump’s main marketing pitch.
Thus, when I see Green Day puts his booking mugshot on their T shirts to ridicule him, all I can think of is :
“To build the world’s most luxurious building.”
They’re not hurting him. They’re only helping him, which is bad news for the lefties and good news for the rest of us.
I understand Billy Joe Armstrong renounced his US citizenship last year. Too bad that putzhead is all talk and no action.
