So many things can kill you. My friend Dave, years ago, said he knew smoking was bad and that he shouldn’t do it so leave him alone about it. He wanted to smoke he enjoyed it it was a chosen vice. Smoking was not what killed him. He died in a car accident. He enjoyed smoking until his last day and never got cancer.

I knew of multiple people that got drunk and smoked everyday and lived into their 90’s.
I know of multiple people dead in their 20’s and 30’s.

we had a young guy with terrible type 1 diabetes...he was in and out of the hospital and his diabetes was not well controlled...

he sometimes would sneak out on the exit balcony and have a cigarette, against the rules of course......

we let him.....

one stinking vice is not the end all especially one that does not impact anyone else.
