What a Night! Russians TOOK OUT ALL WAGNER LEADERS including Prigozhin in Fatal Plane Crash
Today Russia is experiencing one of the most dramatic moments in its history. The Moscow administration and the entire world agenda were shaken by unbelievable news today. Today, the last minute striking details have emerged about Wagner boss Prigozhin, who fought for Russia with his mercenaries on Ukrainian soil. Hours ago the sensational death of Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin rocked the world agenda. According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, a total of ten people died today when Prigozhin’s private jet crashed on its way from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
Prigozhin’s private jet was seen in a video falling from the sky near Moscow. The private jet exploded in mid-air. The wreckage of the plane turned blazing inferno. Witnesses to the crash first heard a loud explosion. Flight tracking sites state that the flight ended abruptly around 18.00 local time near Tver, northwest of Moscow. Russian authorities say Yevgeny Prigozhin, the boss of the mercenary group that launched a failed coup against President Vladimr Putin, was on board the downed plane and was among the dead.
Residents said they heard two explosions and saw a thick trail of vapor before the crash. On the other hand, the Tass news agency reported that Prigozhin’s Embraer Legacy plane caught fire when it hit the ground. It was also stated that the plane remained in the air for less than half an hour. Russian sources reported that a second business jet belonging to Prigozhin landed safely in the Moscow region. It was seen that Prigozhin was not on this plane. Following this, the Russian authorities did not give any further details on the matter and announced that Prigozhin died at the scene and that investigations are currently underway. In addition, according to Russian state news agencies, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that three crew members on the plane were among the ten people who lost their lives.
After this stunning news, tensions in Russia have increased even more. After the explosion of the plane transporting Yevgeny Prigozhin, competing hypotheses emerged. According to Wagner-affiliated Telegram channels, the aircraft was shot down by Russian air defenses. A video of the aircraft’s wreckage uploaded to Telegram channels reveals numerous small holes in various plane components. Supposedly, this was caused by the destruction of the aircraft’s fuselage by air defense munitions. Gray Zone, which has close ties to the paramilitary organization, reported that “two residents heard two explosions of the typical air defense before the plane crash.” This is supported by the presence of contraband in the sky in one of the videos as well as firsthand accounts from eyewitnesses.
According to another source, they should not hurry to bury Prigozhin. According to the source, there were even allegations that Wagner’s superior’s death was possibly staged. In 2019, Wagner’s superior was declared deceased in Africa, but he survived to fight another day. A Russian official-affiliated account on the Telegram app Readovka claimed that reports of Mr. Prigozhin’s demise were premature and that Yevgeny Prigozhin may have been on a different plane. The source denied to specify the location of Prigozhin. Additionally, footage of the second plane’s touchdown was posted on social media.
According to the Russian Telegram channel Baza, which has ties to the security services, the explosion on the aircraft was the result of a terrorist attack. Russian lawmaker Yevgeny Popov stated, “This is an act of terrorism in Russia’s skies.” It requires investigation. The perpetrators must be brought to justice.” Russian television is broadcasting live footage of President Vladimir V. Putin in the Kursk region to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany.
This occurs as news headlines are filled with reports of Wagner’s demise. Putin’s cheerful demeanor on stage as he approached the rostrum was observed. Putin’s laughter at the podium during his speech became an agenda item. Putin, standing in front of the orchestra on stage, extended his sincere congratulations to all Russian citizens for this occasion. According to the White House, President Biden was briefed on the alleged plane accident in Russia. The US National Security Council has received reports of the accident involving Yevgeny Prigozhin in Russia. Adrienne Watson, the spokesperson, stated, “No one should be surprised if he is found dead. As the hours ticked by, tensions in the Kremlin grew even higher.

In her speech during the Crimean Platform summit, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni assured Ukraine of her support and called the West’s response to Russia’s aggression in 2014 erroneous and insufficient.

DETAILS: Meloni noted that Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014 was a clear violation of international law and an attempt to pursue Russian aggressive intentions towards the whole of Ukraine.
“Back in 2014, Western countries did not fully understand the scale of what was happening and perhaps hoped that Moscow’s imperialist ambitions would cease there.
We made a mistake and must admit it,” said Giorgia Meloni.
“Today, we do not hesitate to stand side by side with you. And today, we are here to reiterate that Russia must stop its aggressive policy and withdraw its forces. We will never get tired of working to end the war and achieve a just and lasting peace,” she added.
Meloni noted that Italy is ready to assist in rebuilding Ukraine and will host the Ukraine Recovery Conference in 2025.
“The future of Ukraine is the future of peace, freedom and prosperity. It is the future of a territorially integral Ukraine in a common European family. For your heroic resistance is also our battle for democracy. And your freedom is the freedom of the whole of Europe,” summed up Giorgia Meloni.
French President Emmanuel Macron and Annalena Baerbock, German Foreign Minister, stressed that their countries do not recognize Russia’s annexation of the occupied territories of Ukraine.

Annalena Baerbock, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, has stated that Berlin considers Russia’s annexation of all the occupied territories of Ukraine to be illegal and null and void.

In addition, Baerbock noted that Russia uses the peninsula’s territory for missile strikes on Ukrainian cities; Crimea is an important component of logistics for Russian forces at the contact line and the blockade of Ukrainian ports.
“Today’s meeting testifies to the unwavering commitment of Ukraine’s partners and friends. We want Ukraine to win this war and to win peace,” Annalena Baerbock stressed.
Baerbock began and ended her speech by mentioning Iryna Danylovych, a public journalist detained in Crimea who was sentenced to 7 years in prison by the occupation authorities.
The German Foreign Minister recalled that the total cost of Germany’s bilateral aid to Ukraine since 24 February - from tents and generators to the most modern air defense systems and tanks - reaches 22 billion euros.
In his speech at the summit, French President Emmanuel Macron also emphasized that official Paris does not recognize Russia’s appropriation of Ukrainian territories.
Polish President Andrzej Duda, in his speech at the Crimea Platform summit, underlined that the outcome of Russia’s war against Ukraine, including whether it can “secure” Crimea, determines the preservation of the entire global order.

Estonians fundraise to buy 21 reconnaissance drones for Ukraine

Ukraine will soon receive reconnaissance drones purchased with funds raised by Estonians last year.

DETAILS: The fundraising campaign was launched last fall by an activist group of graduates of the Estonian National Defence University. They announced the end of the campaign on Tuesday, 23 August.
Donations were collected on the Estonian crowdfunding platform toeta.me, with contributions from 3,986 individuals from Estonia and abroad. The campaign raised a total of €222,933, the largest amount ever raised on the toeta.me platform.
The funds raised will be used to buy and upgrade 21 EOS C VTOL drones manufactured by Threod Systems so that they cannot be jammed by Russian anti-drone systems; this will extend their life at the front.
The drones will be sent to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
The EOS C VTOLs have proven to be high-level surveillance assets on the battlefield in Ukraine. The drones can maintain communication with their operators up to 50 kilometres away; the range of autonomous flight is up to 150 kilometres.
These drones have already been used to obtain crucial footage and valuable intelligence that influenced the course of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
Last year, Estonia handed over drones to the Ukrainian military, which a few months earlier a person with dual Russian and Estonian citizenship tried to smuggle out of Estonia for the Russian army.

DETAILS: In her speech, Meloni mentioned that Italy could host a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine in 2025.
QUOTE: “Today we are here to emphasise once again that Russia must stop its aggressive policy and withdraw its troops. We will not get tired of working to end the war and achieve a just and lasting peace,” said the Italian Prime Minister.
“We are also determined to help you in the recovery of your country, in particular to hold the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Italy in 2025, an event that will contribute to the creation of opportunities for the Ukrainian people and will contribute to your socio-economic revival,” she said.
The embassy confirmed to European Pravda that the decision is already final and that Italy will host the conference in 2025.
BACKGROUND:
-The first conference on the recovery of Ukraine was held in Lugano, Switzerland, in 2022, and in London in 2023. During the conference, the participants collectively promised to direct an additional US$60 billion to Kyiv’s needs for recovery and reconstruction.

Thanks for your comment. I hadn’t heard about Wagner having acquired a nuclear weapon. But, it wouldn’t surprise me. Prigozhin had the ear of some in Kremlin.

IMO, I believe this meme does not run counter to our theology.
Rather, this meme that requests prayer is asking for all to make an earnest appeal by imploring for an end of this evil Russian invasion to: save the physical lives of both Russian & Ukrainian military as well as Ukrainian civilians that want peace not war.
