My cat died today. She was 20. She was a beautiful golden brown tabby. She was very good cat to get along with. She loved her family. Yes, I'm saddened, but she lived a pretty good life.
God honoured me by allowing her to pass on before I brought her to the vet for euthanization. The vet told me that the lack of corneal activity probably indicated that she only operating autonomously, with her heart and lungs and bodily functions. But that was all that was left of her.
So, while we will probably have pets in heaven and eternity because that is our nature, to want to have pets. Will God allow the pets we loved to join us in eternity or will we have to satisfy ourselves with new pets only?
I certainly hope so. If not I will have to put off dying. I prefer the company of my pets over most people.
I believe we will see our pets again, when God restores heaven and earth to what it was before the fall.
I’m gonna have a herd of animals up yonder
Sorry for your loss.
Lost my bowhunt kitty last month. I would lock up the dogs lest they follow me yet Oksana would follow and up the tree she went with me. Good times. She was 17.

Don’t forget Cat Toys!
I think it was Mark Twain that said “Heaven is based on grace, If it was based on merit, your dog would go and you wouldn’t.”
Yes.
Sorry for your loss.
I expect that there will be animals in heaven since Isaiah says this .......
Isaiah 11:6-9 The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them.
The cow and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den.
They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Thank you. I’ve been tearing up quite a bit over it. She really loved her family, as much as cats can love their families.
I have heard that too. We will have what we need to be fulfilled. As I age, I accept the idea of Heaven as a state of mind or spirit.
**I have heard views from Animal Psychics, or those who claim to have skills of Telepathy; people who claim that they can pick up on an animals thoughts or perceive events that the animal has experienced. The animals ‘listened to’ were all domestic pets. Most of these people say the majority of animals are very accepting of their death. They may be worried about their owners getting sick, but the animals rarely see their own deaths as something scary.
Animals, yes. I think we will even have pets, conceptually speaking. It’s just a question of the pets that we knew whether we will get them back or not.
I have about 7 I would love, in varying order. This cat is number one on the list, if I was limited in the pets that I was allowed to have back.

My condolences.
I’m a cat guy too.
As to your question, I’m not a religious scholar by any means, but it seems like to me, if you earn your way into a ‘Heaven’ then you should be allowed to have any pet you want, as long as they didn’t earn their own way into a ‘hell’.
My cats deserve to burn in hell for eternity.
You would have loved my Bronze. Everybody did.
Revelation 22 KJV:
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
I shouldn't be so flippant. I'm sorry for your loss.
I just traveled across the United States from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast in a minivan with a wife, four kids, and two cats and I was at my wits end with those beasts.
They're actually good cats. And the wife and kids love them so I can't drown them in the bathtub.
Dont worry, I took itbwell.
She really was a nice cat, if she trusted you.
