We just created a new website and aren't keen on the company we engaged to do that, who are currently handling the hosting/maintenance. We'd like to contract directly with an entity to host it ourselves and possibly even maintain it ourselves, as there should be very little changes to it overall.
The site was created through wordpress.
Would love some guidance on taking over the daily/monthly ourselves.
Unfortunately if you have your site built already on Wordpress you’d have to rebuild the entire thing in Webflow.
That being said, I use Webflow to help maintain my friend’s website. It is customizable and powerful, and has great customer service if there’s a problem.

If you assume the maintenance, do not forget to contract high-level break/fix services.
FYI: A static environment is very rare. Even if your interface/logical website (the application) remains static, the platform it rests on will not. And can not.
A professional hosting service will regularly back up BOTH the application and the platform...essentially making it physically mobile via VMWare’s V-Shpere.
It’s worth it.
Been using them for about 20 years.
No, they are DYI. When there was a problem with a technical issue, ie: dns issues, they were able to solve quickly.
I use Bluehost. Contact their support which helped me transfer my site over from another host and I had my pop3 email and the website up in about an hour. No issues since.
