Luuuuucccyyyy! Somebody got some splainin to do.
All that plus kaleidoscope eyes.
So she looked like Big Mike Robinson.
74% of mass in the legs implies to me mostly ambulatory on the ground, not arboreal. rock climbers typically need and have more well developed than usual arm muscles to help them climb.
“Starting with human MRI and CT scans to map muscle pathways, Wiseman next focused on virtual reconstructions of Lucy’s bones and joints, and then married up cues from muscle “scarring” on the bones.”
Skeptical. Seems like a lot of extrapolation based on “human MRI and CT scans” and “reconstructions” from a few leg bone fragments.

Looks a lot like Big Mike.
They had amazing forest cities. Their libraries were very extensive, going back over one million years, but unfortunately, the writing was on bark scrolls and had to be reproduced every 100 years or so.
Then there was the forest fire during a drought, and there wasn’t enough water behind the dams to extinguish it. Most of the library was lost.
It was during this episode that Lucy lost her life in a heroic attempt to save her neighbor’s kids.
The only thing that was ripped was the article from the original. Which for many posters and their question can present answers not found in the ripped article posted.

But, Wait! According to modern “woke” thought you cannot tell the difference between a man and a woman! So how do we know LUCY was a female?

Yes, I know we live in a time of perpetual silliness.
