She wore a jersey while going out with her husband, Travis Barker, on Friday. People online found the jersey offensive and called her out for it.

Kourtney Kardashian and her husband, Travis Barker, were photographed leaving a Greek restaurant, Taverna Tony, while holding hands on their date night.

During their casual date, Travis wore black pants, a white t-shirt, a black jacket, and a beanie. Kourtney chose to wear a Chicago Blackhawks Jersey instead of pants, showing off her legs.

The Lemme founder paired it with chunky black leather boots and a black overcoat.

What caught the attention of online users was the Chicago Blackhawks Jersey that Kourtney wore. The jersey had the logo of the team, which portrays the head of a Native American.

The team has been amid a lot of controversy regarding its choice of logo and name for years.

I haven't heard an outcry against the Blackhawks, are they the next team to change their name?

Chicago has a lot more to worry about than a hockey team’s mascot.

My understanding is that "Blackhawk" was an Indian man, NOT an Indian tribe.
Black Hawk, Indian name Ma-ka-tai-me-she-kia-kiak, (born 1767, Saukenuk [now in Rock Island, Illinois]—died October 3, 1838, village on the Des Moines River, southeastern Iowa Territory [now in northeastern Davis county, Iowa]), leader of a faction of Sauk, Fox, Kickapoo, and Ho-Chunk (Winnebago) peoples. Black Hawk and his followers contested the disposition of 50 million acres (20 million hectares) of territory that had supposedly been granted to the United States by tribal spokesmen in the Treaty of St. Louis in 1804. His decision to defy the government and attempt to reoccupy tribal lands along the Rock River in Illinois resulted in the brief but tragic Black Hawk War of 1832.
So Black Hawk fought the U.S. government for its treacherous take-back of land ceded to the Indian tribes. Not many years ago, that would have made Black Hawk a hero to the left. I suppose now leftists hate anybody who fights the expansion of tyrannical government, so Black Hawk was a bad guy.

It's hard to keep leftism straight without a contemporary scorecard.

Or maybe the leftists idiots are confusion "Blackhawk" (man) with "Blackfeet" (tribe). Given the sorry state of their educations and lack of any historical knowledge, this would not be surprising.

The name Chicago, shikaakwa, is Algonquin for stinky onion (we call it garlic), pronounced with a French accent. The team is named for the 86th Infantry Division, still called that today, named for Chief Blackhawk. Why can’t they have a native head as a symbol and why can’t an Armenian, persecuted in their native land, wear it.

Wow kourtney cardashian who I have never heard of and don’t case about is wearing a shirt of some team that I have heard of and don’t care about because they play a sport I don’t care about. Is someone so useless that they have to spend their time criticizing people who nobody cares about over things that nobody cares about so they can get some attention? And what does that say about someone who posts such useless stuff on a website that exists to discuss politics and issues that relate to our very survival?

There is a Black Hawk County in Iowa. Maybe it needs to be renamed.

Abraham Lincoln's only experience of war before 1861 was in the Black Hawk War.

You nailed it. And the hubbub is all about some Indian chief who died in 1838, to boot!

This is the problem with the Internet and web. It greatly amplifies the voice of one kook with nothing to do.
