True. But those statements were made at the outset of the case when Laci went missing.
Right at the start Peterson told the Modesto PD that he had been fishing at Emeryville in his small boat. They refused to believe him saying that no one would use such a small boat on the SF Bay. So they made a big show of searching orchards, canals, reservoirs, and etc.
When the Emeryville PD went to search the bay the Modesto PD asked them to stop because it was a distraction.
Then when the two bodies washed ashore in Emeryville the Modesto PD were all, “AH_HA!!! WE KNEW IT ALL ALONG!” and pretended that their previous assertions had never existed.
Some people forgot all of that but I did not.

I don’t much like other women. It’s true. Most of them are shallow, self-absorbed, gossipy, vengeful, vindictive, hateful towards their husbands, resentful of their children, and they run liberal.
A minority are wonderful people.

And why not? Why would you assume that she was in danger when she could have simply been out of the house for some reason?
Besides, in California at the time you couldn’t even call the police on a missing CHILD until the child was missing more than 24 hours.

Are you confusing this Scott with the other Scott Peterson, the one who was an LEO? I only know of Laci and the baby as this one’s victims.
According to the jury, he did. Jeffrey McDonald has spent many years with numerous opportunities to profess he didn’t do it.
Thing is, he did it. And so did Scott.
Of course Lacy and their unborn son is all but forgotten. But ole Scott? He is innocent.

It didn’t happen.
I owned the house across the street from the Petersons at that time. The street looked like a carnival of TV trucks. There wasn’t a soul I know that thought Scott was innocent. Sleepy Modesto turned into a crazy place during that period and the Condit aid disappearance.
The fact that a body washes up in a particular place does not mean it was put in the water there, especially if a lot of time has passed, which seems to be the situation in this case (about which I know very little).
So, his wife went missing at the end of December, and the body washed up in April. A body can travel a long way in the currents in that amount of time.
Not saying anything about his guilt, just that his saying that when she went missing he was at the place where 3 or 4 months later her body washed up does not indicate anything at all.

So he was fishing, came home and found his pregnant wife was not there, and put his clothes in the washing machine.
Under other circumstances, he would have been praised for being considerate to his wife!
I am a female. I will jump in and condemn any female who is lying about any man for the sake of revenge against him.
In this case, this guy is where he belongs. just because he is good looking does not make him innocent. Same goes with any woman who would do the same to a man.

From my experience being married to a woman for 18 years (before her death) and having 3 daughters (now 18, 19 and 21), most women don’t like other women.
