Family sounds full of drama and hysteria. They do not tell the hospital how to operate when it comes to where alarms sound. They should not be touching the equipment. They rejected standard medical treatment so why take her to the hospital?

Sounds like they are refusing to accept responsibility for their role in the daughter’s death from covid19.

The only thing I am interested in is whether there was a DNR order. It’s also not clear why the sister was the patient advocate and if it was the facility or the parents objecting.

Well it says there was a way to make the alarms sound only in the nurse’s office. I could see it would keep her up all night. I’ve been in a hospital and one can’t sleep because machines are going off every five minutes.

Alarms can lowered in rooms and only heard at nursing station. Dr can not do a DNR without written permission from a family member.

I caught that too. Nobody should touch any buttons in a hospital room. I agree on the DNR unless the adult patient gave the ok which is possible. I think they will lose this lawsuit.
