California does woke things that eventually screws everyone. No one gets away unaffected.

So how does the government there continue to exist?

It seems with ballot harvesting, and scores of hairball electoral tweaks and manipulations - they can get any vote result they need.

It is not just California; it is the entire West Coast. My wife and I live in Washington State in the foothills. Fortunately, our neighborhood has natural gas. Our power goes out here frequently when there are wind storms mostly fall through spring. Sometimes it doesn’t come back on for several days and occasionally a couple of weeks. All of our neighbors have generators. Many have been enabled to use natural gas, which is cheaper and much more convenient.

Washington has been banning the extension of natural gas to new neighborhoods, so people who have moved into new houses near us no longer have this option.

Yep. Many states follow CA’s lead in matters like this. I was going to say it’s the blind leading the blind. But the insane leading the insane is better.

Believe it or not millions in California support these insane ideas, I have a theory that blue states are getting bluer and red states are getting redder as people separate them themselves in greater numbers.

That’s one of the reasons DeSantis won by 20% last year, Florida apparently has gotten more red as NY has gone even more insane, California is just at the epicenter of this political divorce
