Koresh also hung out at The Chelsea Street Pub on weekends.

Multiple opportunities to nab the guy without incident.

The sheriff during that time was Jack Harwell who some will say died under mysterious circumstances.

And then there was the comms that Schneider put together at the compound.

Bottom line..... gov got away with murdering it’s own citizens in cold blood.

Correct, nobody can find the missing front door to indicate who fired on who. Also, it seems many on the ‘right’ forgot to ask Gen. Boykin if he had any of his d boys on the ground as advisors or shooters when he was doing his talks at churches. Throw in that many of these adventures started under Bush Senior, ie Waco, Somalia and of course Ruby Ridge

Correct. The irony is that the wiki page on the topic does cite “The Waco siege, also known as the Waco massacre,”

I recall watching this play out on TV as it happened and reading numerous accounts of what went wrong shortly thereafter.

What stands firm in my mind is that David Koresh left the compound often and had a fair relationship with the sheriff. The point to be made is he could have easily been arrested during one of his trips to town, probably most easily by the sheriff. This would have saved countless lives.

The feds wanted a showdown, they wanted a “showtime”, the use of excess force was a preferred option.

Take Waco, Ruby Ridge and that poor guy Richard Jewell into account, and our fed LEO’s have a good history with deadly excessive force or purposely wanting to be headlining attention whores at the expense of women, children and just plain honest people like Jewell.

Fast forward to today and many people fear even reporting a crime for fear they will be some political nightmare if their situation does not align with the dem party.

Ruby Ridge, Waco and Richard Jewell events are the precursor to today’s out of control politicized FBI.

Considering how far left obama’s Netflix has gone, I do not see how a fair representation of the facts could ever come out. David Koresh probably deserved to be arrested, but he deserved his day in court, not for a bunch of innocent women and children to be massacred.

It’s hard to believe Netflix would have an accurate account.

Not just Netflix.

I started watching the Showtime/Paramount Series "Waco" (2018) the other night. I'm three episodes in so far. While they held no punches painting Koresh as a megalomaniac pedophile/polygamist cult later, they really unleashed on the ineptness of the ATF and the increasingly militarized FBI. I was really surprised they went in this direction.

The series begins with the ATF/FBI bungling their raid on Ruby Ridge and paints a sympathetic picture of Randy Weaver while making the feds out to be villans.

The sequel series "Waco: The Aftermath" premiered this week and leads up to the Oklahoma City bombing and from what I've read (I'll watch it when I'm finished with the first series) it paints much of the same "we created this monster" view of militarized, ineptly-led federal law enforcement.

>>>>“A national police force is neither wanted nor needed in a Free America."

>>It is Forbidden the Federal Government. Period. But they ignore that and do it under a different name.

Evil, power-hungry usurpers came out of the closet in-force before the ink was dry on the Constitution:

"If Congress can apply money indefinitely to the general welfare, and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands; they may establish teachers in every State, county, and parish, and pay them out of the public Treasury; they may take into their own hands the education of children, establishing in like manner schools throughout the Union; they may undertake the regulation of all roads, other than post roads. In short, everything, from the highest object of State legislation, down to the most minute object of police, would be thrown under the power of Congress; for every object I have mentioned would admit the application of money, and might be called, if Congress pleased, provisions for the general welfare."

"The language held in various discussions of this House, is a proof that the doctrine in question was never entertained by this body. Arguments, wherever the subject would permit, have constantly been drawn from the peculiar nature of this Government, as limited to certain enumerated powers, instead of extending, like other Governments, to all cases not particularly excepted..."

"In short, sir, without going further into the subject, which I should not have here touched on at all but for the reasons already mentioned, I venture to declare it as my opinion, that were the power of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for, it would subvert the very foundation, and transmute the very nature of the limited Government established by the people of America; and what inferences might be drawn, or what consequences ensue from such a step, it is incumbent on us all well to consider."

[James Madison, House of Representatives, February 6, 1792, in John C. Rives, "Abridgment of the Debates of Congress, from 1789 to 1856 Vol I." D. Appleton & Company, 1857, p.363]

Usurpations were not restricted to the Congress. One of the first usurpers was Alexander Hamilton, Secretary of the Treasury under George Washington. Not to be left out, the Supreme Court got into the act by the rulings and opinions of another heinous usurper, the 2nd Chief Justice, John Marshall, who was appointed by John Adams. Both were enemies of a true patriot named Thomas Jefferson.

In short, by 1801 all three branches of the federal government were infiltrated by usurpers.

28 years since the OK City bombing as well. I don’t think we’ve heard the complete story about that either.

No we haven't, the target was the FBI, even way back then, What they did to prompt the attack will always remain secretive.

Ironically, this series does not exist on netflix.

"Waco: American Apocalypse" is a documentary series that premiered last month on Netflix.

"Waco" is a dramatic series (featuring actors) that premiered on Showtime/Paramount in 2018 with a sequel dramatic series "Waco: The Aftermath" (featuring some of the same actors) premiering last week.

I was in some 2 week fire department class during the siege about 100 miles north of Waco. One of the females in the class was quite vocal about how her husband was local BATF or FBI and said how stupid the siege was and how if only he were in charge, it would be over immediately, because he would just set the place on fire. Her last name and the incident commander were not the same.

And almost 100 innocent souls died in a totally predictable incident. The FBI intended to murder those people.

The Waco operation may have been set in motion under Bush senior, but it was 100% carried out under Clinton. The initial raid was February 28, 1993. More than a month into Clinton's first term.

Showtime had a series on Waco that was pretty kind to the Branch davidian point of view.

My wife and I watched it and realized that some of the lying and coverup propensity of the FBI and DOJ started way back with Ruby Ridge and the Waco siege.

The truth makes you nauseous. No excuse for killing all those people.

Yes, nothing I said was wrong. That is usually how things work, one admin starts something then the next does it again or continues the operation.

TARP, covid stimulus, pat act, spying, domestic raids, all part of the r and d continuation.
