Of course they are; if guns get banned there will be a takeover of our form of gov’t by the libs. Guess who the illegals will side with, a million man army ready to go as the illegals are familiar with a dictatorial form of gov’t.
It may be undeclared, but it takes a special kind of stupid not to know we are at war.
BTW, I don't think Bongino is stupid. I think he's just asking a rhetorical question. But he needs to amend it for accuracy.

I don’t think they want a war. They would be happy if we left and wouldn’t try to stop us.
For years I have belonged to an indoor shooting range in Northern Virginia, less than fifteen miles from D.C. The area is overwhelmingly liberal/progressive, and votes for the Democratic candidate in any election, no matter what — really, no matter what! It used to be that I would see mostly military or ex-military types at the range, along with private security guards, and a few people like myself who just enjoyed the discipline of target shooting. In the past two years that has changed dramatically. Now, there are a lot of foreigners there, along with minorities, and obvious liberal types, including some that easily fit the description of the Nashville shooter. I guess I am happy that the sport is broadening its base and becoming more inclusive, but at the same time I am disturbed as to why that might be.
I imagine they're scratching their heads why something hasn't happened to conflate into a Timothy McVeigh type event.
Thing is, if that ball gets rolling, there won't be 'Green Zones' to hide in, at least for very long.
