Housing Starts Jump Higher Than Expected

ome builders broke ground on more new houses than expected in February, a sign that higher interest rates are not weighing down the housing market as much as they were earlier.

Housing starts jumped 9.8 percent in February to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.45 million. Economists had expected an increase of just 0.1 percent to 1.31 million after the very depressed January figure came in much lower than expected.

Breitbart Business Digest: Light at the End of the Housing Tunnel

https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2023/03/16/breitbart-business-digest-light-at-the-end-of-the-housing-tunnel/ .... The big driver in the increase was in multifamily starts, which rose 24 percent to 620,000....more apartments and rentals

Blackrock, etc learned a few years ago, how to get that taxpayer money. First the hedge funds started buying up all the companies that were providing contract security to the State Dept and other agencies, overseas at embassies and elsewhere. Seems that getting control of multi-billion dollar contracts, paying around $1,000,000,000 a year was great for business and the check was never late.

Now they've ventured into the real estate game and are buying up every house they can get their hands on, leaving the 'one man investor' out in the cold. But, that's been going on for a while.

Here in Georgia, you'll hear radio ads from a person that says they will buy any and every house, no matter the condition. In North Georgia it's a young man. Down around central Georgia, west of Macon, it's a young woman. Ads are exactly the same. Exactly.

In Grayson and Covington, two developments are up or are in the process of going up. Townhomes and 1-story attached houses, all rentals.

Covington/Newton County, still somewhat rural, is going to have over 1000 apartments, once all the construction is completed. And I've never seen so many illegals walking around Walmart, in the 11 years that I've lived here. But, that doesn't compare to all the ones in Gwinnett and Cobb, the reason both those counties went BLUE, after generations of being some of the most Conservative places in the country.

Just like getting their hands on those government contracts, overseas, the hedge funds learned to buy up every square foot of real estate, slam up some rentals and it Joe 6-Pack can't afford their rent, everything goes to Section 8 and that guaranteed check, every month.

Never have to worry about the "tenants bill of rights", like the one recently passed here in Georgia, as the check's never stop, there's always a new tenant waiting on a place, and very little maintenance has to be done. And with over 5,000,000 and counting streaming across the border, there will never be a shortage of tenants getting a place to live courtesy of the taxpayers.

It works for the Rats on a lot of levels. Brings in people who will be their “voters” whether they know it or not. Changes the racial demographics, and makes everyone dependent on them.

Also explains an ulterior motive for their No SFD zoning push: their donors want that outta the way so they can build barracks for their shock troops.

Pretty little Khruschev blocks, destroying the American landscape.

Will all be Cabrini-Green in 10 years.

In Houston I called Section 8 housing INCUBATORS. Just like an egg crate with multiple buns in the oven. I had a suburban office to help people with the commute, the rent was also cheap. Just across the street apartments went up. More like thrown up. Brown people began to arrive and soon they were full. The bus stopped morning and afternoon to load the cargo of little brown people. Nothing else, just several bus loads of little brown people.

“Joe 6-Pack can’t afford their rent, everything goes to Section 8 and that guaranteed check, every month.”

We saw it all over Houston. Build apartments as cheap and as fast as possible and fill them with Section 8ers. It pays off like a slot machine. They look like they are built to tear down instead of maintain. Nothing but suburban tenements. Houston’s absence of zoning makes it all soooo easy.

We are seeing the same thing in NW Arkansas now.
