In the ‘70’s and ‘80’s there was a reptile zoo in Miami Florida, along US1. Called the Miami Serpentarium. The founder, Bill Haast, progressively dosed himself with larger and larger quantities of toxic serpent venom to make himself immune when he handled the snakes. The man survived multiple snakebites that would have killed any other human being.
