Yeah, the *FIRST* company he started was making blue boxes to cheat the Telephone company, and *HE* was the guy selling them while Woz was making them.
In fact, before they became famous as Apple, Jobs was working for Atari, and made a deal to reduce chip count on a Pong design, (I think) and Woz did an excellent job, Jobs collected all the money for Woz's work, and cheated Woz out of his share.
Jobs has always been a sleaze.

Maybe. Maybe it was Jobs brilliant administrating that did the trick, or maybe the timing was just right and maybe not doing stupid stuff would have been all it took. Maybe Joe Blow down the street could have wrestled Apple back.
When you read up enough on Jobs, you get the impression that he was more of an arrogant flim flam man than a brilliant designer or administrator.
He knew how to talk a big game of sh*t, but i'm not convinced he was particularly good at anything other than lying and screaming.
