Steve Jobs was the co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Apple Corporation and died in 2011, aged 56, after losing his battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He posted the following observation just prior to his death. Do not delete without reading. Very profound and a realization that only became obvious when he was confronted with his certain demise. The World's six best doctors ... worth reading--------- Steve Jobs died a billionaire ( $10.2b ) at age 56. This is his final essay: "I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. In some others' eyes, my life is the epitome of success. However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, my wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to. At this moment, lying on my bed and recalling my life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in have paled and become meaningless in the face of my death.
You can employ someone to drive the car for you, make money for you but you cannot have someone bear your sickness for you. Material things lost can be found or replaced. But there is one thing that can never be found when it's lost - Life. Whichever stage in life you are in right now, with time, you will face the day when the curtain comes down. Treasure love for your family, love for your spouse, love for your friends. Treat yourself well and cherish others. As we grow older, and hopefully wiser, we realize that a $300 or a $30 watch both tell the same time. You will realize that your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world. Whether you fly first class or economy, if the plane goes down - you go down with it.
Therefore, I hope you realize, when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sing songs with, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven and earth, that is true happiness! Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. So when they grow up they will know the value of things and not the price. Eat your food as your medicine, otherwise you have to eat medicine as your food. There is a big difference between a human being and being human. Only a few really understand it. You are loved when you are born. You will be loved when you die. In between, you have to manage! The six best doctors in the world are rest, exercise, diet, self-confidence, family and friends. Maintain them in all stages and enjoy a healthy life.

IIRC, he started the company with Woz in a garage. Was eventually booted from his own company when the Pepsi guy tried to ruin Apple, and Jobs wrestled the company back from the brink of extinction.
I don’t care that it took yelling and screaming. Apparently, that’s what was needed.

Absolutely did, and if my father asked for forgiveness, Grace and Redemption would be his. But I suspect that the “ i’ve never been arrested” level of his guilt would have prevented that asking.
The truth of the matter is that i was vengeful in the moment. And extremely protective of my youngest brother. It was his daughter molested, among others. Both he and my niece are part of my life.
I do ask forgiveness for being vengeful. . The remaining anger is something that i sweep into my Anxiety Closet, and nail shut.

Yeah, the *FIRST* company he started was making blue boxes to cheat the Telephone company, and *HE* was the guy selling them while Woz was making them.
In fact, before they became famous as Apple, Jobs was working for Atari, and made a deal to reduce chip count on a Pong design, (I think) and Woz did an excellent job, Jobs collected all the money for Woz's work, and cheated Woz out of his share.
Jobs has always been a sleaze.

Maybe. Maybe it was Jobs brilliant administrating that did the trick, or maybe the timing was just right and maybe not doing stupid stuff would have been all it took. Maybe Joe Blow down the street could have wrestled Apple back.
When you read up enough on Jobs, you get the impression that he was more of an arrogant flim flam man than a brilliant designer or administrator.
He knew how to talk a big game of sh*t, but i'm not convinced he was particularly good at anything other than lying and screaming.
Bless you. Give your anger to Him. He knows what to do with it. And I hope your precious young women heal completely. I wish I knew Gods plan. I can’t even buy a vowel. All I can do is trust.

Truth be told, Jobs is no hero to me, no more than Gates.
Everyone has a role to play.
