...and maybe she should seriously reflect on this, resign, and spend some time with her remaining three kids to help make sure they don't go down this path. Like Palin, this reflects incredibly bad family values, which really should be her first and primary focus. Or, maybe her other three kids should go live with another family member who can help them more than mom apparently has.

Sorry, I'm not forgiving the parent, we see too much of this and everyone stands around idiotly and explains or excuses it away while also bemoning disappearing family values.

I was married at 18. We got married before he went to serve in Vietnam. I had my first son at age 19.

I am glad she loves her family.

I am thrilled for her. I’m a grandpa twice so far. Yes my son was married and happy for it. But I also have three children not married yet. So I will never be critical of this situation. Even in the best families, this can easily happen.
