DeSantis attacks Lefties while Trump tries to divide and destroy the GOP. Desantis is a Gop leader not a insecure jealous petty old man . We need a fresh new young national leader .

“DeSantis attacks Lefties while Trump tries to divide and destroy the GOP. Desantis is a Gop leader not a insecure jealous petty old man . We need a fresh new young national leader.”

AOC is young. Adam Kinzinger is young. Liz Cheney is younger. You want young? How about a young lunatic woke cancel culture mentally ill jerk for a president huh? But by gosh they are younger.

Trump just finished an almost 2 hour speech at CPAC and didn’t drop a line or lose a single mental step throughout the speech and had the physical stamina to stand there throughout it. I think it’s YOU that is jealous and petty and a lousy, disloyal conservative if you even are one; you sound like a RINO anti-Trumper at best.

Trump trying to divide the GOP? It’s YOU that is going to try to destroy the GOP. He was our President and a great one who did just about everything conservative that he said he would do, and conservatives loved him. Except for those disloyal grumpy old acting nitpickers such as yourself. Trump could run rings around you. Make like a clam and shut up your trash talk. Fresh new national leader my derriere. Go worship at Kinzinger/Cheney’s feet.

I missed that speech was that at CPAC? Oh wait, he didn’t have the testicular fortitude to show up there, opting to wallow in the establishment cesspool over at GOPE Inc.

Thank you for referencing that article ncalburt.

"Desantis is a Gop leader not a insecure jealous petty old man . We need a fresh new young national leader ."

With all due respect ncalburt, please consider the following.

Beware when FN and the corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties tell you that the constitutionally limited power Oval Office is the most powerful office in the land. The drafters of the Constitution never intended for the peacetime Oval Office to have the powers, effectively stolen state powers, that presidents, both good and bad, have been wrongly exercising from that office.

In fact, the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, the main author of Section 1 of the 14th Amendment, had clarified that the founders had left the care of the people with the states, not the federal government.

More specifically, we don't want DeSantis, or any other incumbent or past governor, likewise for state lawmakers, to take the 10th Amendment-protected state powers that they used to help make their respective states thrive to the Oval Office and use those same powers to try to make the nation thrive.

We have an unconstitutionally big federal government because it steals and exercises state powers.

Patriots need to send Trump 47 to the Oval Office to finish the job of draining the swamp, including cleaning up the Democratic-weaponized judiciary.

Trump also needs to work with both state and federal MAGA lawmakers to surrender state powers that the corrupt feds have been stealing since before the ink on the Constitution had dried back to the states.

Once Trump has finished doing all the above, then in addition to maintaining militia readiness, he can spend most of the remainder of his 2nd term on the golf course like Obama did.

Playing golf is appropriately symbolic (imo) of the effective 24/7 lame duck powers that the drafters of the Constitution had intended for the peacetime, limited power federal government to have imo.

Patriots, the bottom line is this imo. What is your threshold of “pain” for peacefully stopping unconstitutionally big state and federal governments controlled by bully, constitutionally undefined political parties, from oppressing the people under their boots?

The inevitable remedy for ongoing, post-17A ratification, corrupt political party treason (imo)...

All MAGA patriots need to wake up their RINO federal and state lawmakers by making the following clear to them.

If they don’t publicly support either a resolution, or a Constitutional Convention, to effectively "secede" ALL the states from the unconstitutionally big federal government by amending the Constitution to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A), doing so before the primary elections in 2024, that YOU will primary them.

If the proposed amendment was limited strictly to repealing 16&17A, relatively little or ideally no discussion would be needed before ratification of the amendment imo.

With 16&17A out of the way, my hope is that Trump 47 becomes the FIRST president of a truly constitutionally limited power federal government.

In the meanwhile, I'm not holding my breath for significant MAGA legislation to appear in the first 100 days of new term for what may still prove to be another RINO-controlled House.

Trump will hopefully do another round of primarying RINOs for 2024 elections.

He was our President and a great one who did just about everything conservative that he said he would do

Nothing conservative about gun bans.

Nothing conservative about "Two weeks to slow the spread" as he handed the keys to the country over to Dr. Fauci.

Nothing conservative about Covid stimulus payments that sparked the inflation bubble.

And now he's throwing gay parties at Mar-A-Lago. Is that conservative?

You can call Trump a great president. You can call him a populist. But don't call him a conservative. He wasn't one and never pretended otherwise.

Well actually, Trump is attacking the consultant and donor class that's lining up behind DeSantis. He's not attacking DeSantis per se.

Desantis is a Gop leader not a insecure jealous petty old man

Florida would be looking at Governor black Bi-Sexual Meth-head had it not been for Trump's endorsement and basically turning DeSantis from a Congressional back-bencher into a prominent leader.

We need a fresh new young national leader

Nope, Trump has unfinished business to handle. DeSantis can wait his turn for 2028.

Nothing conservative about gun bans.

You mean the bump stock ban that had a negligible impact on gun rights and Trump knew the courts would strike it down anyway? He supported that to give the gun control zealots a squirrel to chase after.

Nothing conservative about "Two weeks to slow the spread" as he handed the keys to the country over to Dr. Fauci.

Literal millions of people worldwide would have died from drug or alcohol abuse, depression, endless lockdowns, and starvation had Trump not forced the globalists to rush their plans when Trump introduced Operation Warp Speed.

Nothing conservative about Covid stimulus payments that sparked the inflation bubble.

That was Congress, not Trump.

And now he's throwing gay parties at Mar-A-Lago. Is that conservative?

Were kids involved? Who cares if adult men wear makeup and panty hoses?

But don't call him a conservative. He wasn't one and never pretended otherwise.

You and I both knew that Trump wasn't a Reaganesque conservative. That's why we supported him. Because "conservatives" haven't done squat in pushing back against the Left until Trump came along.

Really? How negligible is it when the ATF gets to change the definition of a machine gun as defined in the Gun Control Act and National Firearms Act? And only the Fifth Circuit has ruled that bump stocks cannot be classified as a machine gun. So for most of the US the Federal ban is still in place. Which means that for most of the US, people had their bump stock turned into an illegal device with no compensation, etc.

It will take years to unwind the mess that President Trump caused with that ruling. Perhaps now that there is a circuit split, the Supreme Court will take up bump stocks, something that they have declined to do several times.

The ban is meaningless in the long run as House Republicans are going after the ATF. The ATF has no power. It was a flop poker hand by Trump to get the gun control morons off his back.

Well said. Trump is a brilliant man, we know he can do the job, but he’s cutting himself off at his knees with his third-grade name-calling.

DiSantis’ book is a page-turner; fascinating background. Talk about a hard worker!!!

I will disagree. The Federal ban is in full force except for the Fifth Circuit. The House Republicans will have little leverage to force a reversal of the ban, as Biden has stated he supports the ban.

Wow. I've heard this before. "This ban will have negligible impact on gun rights."

Sounds like a Democrat.

Guess what? I didn't vote for Trump to ban f***ing guns! I don't care how "negligible" it was on my rights.

Even Obama didn't ban guns.

And the rest of your post is typical boilerplate, "Not Trump's fault!"

Anyhow, I supporting an actual conservative in this race. If Trump gets the nod, so be it. I'll vote for him. But I'm not going to pretend he's some champion of conservatism. He's only less liberal than his Democrat opponent.

He's Romney with mean tweets.

Your definition of conservatism isn’t what you think it is. It’s no longer the idyllic days of principled, rock-ribbed Reagan Republicans. They have been completely hijacked by scammers, neo-cons, and Globalists who prefer endless fundraisers and donations from gullible suckers like yourself.

Ron DeSantis would be nobody without Trump. Did you see Trump’s latest web speech on his Truth Social channel? He is laying out a futuristic vision for this country. He’s talking about issues that are not even on the radar yet. DeSantis is already roadkill, Paul Ryan and Jeb Bush are the anchors.

From the looks of the massive number of empty seats, lots of people didn't show up to CPAC.
