FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — State health officials announced Friday that a person who attended an Asbury University revival service has a confirmed case of measles.

Officials say the person is a Jessamine County resident and attended the revival on February 18. No other information will be given due to privacy concerns.

“Anyone who attended the revival on Feb. 18 may have been exposed to measles,” said Dr. Steven Stack, commissioner of the Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH). “Attendees who are unvaccinated are encouraged to quarantine for 21 days and to seek immunization with the measles vaccine, which is safe and effective.”

Amazing how the antivaxxers have destroyed even the simplest thing like eradicating the measles. We’ll never get rid of these diseases with the selfish among us. A revival indeed.

Could be. But you have to ask why only 1 case then.

True… we all remember the untold millions who suffered and died from measles. It was like the plague on steroids.
This one case could be the end of life as we know it.
Fauci could save us.
Our Lord n savior..the vax.

I doubt many illegals are going to Christian tent revivals.

Mumps, measles, chicken pox, childhood maladies that happened to just about every kid. So what exactly is the problem?!

All 50 states and the District of Columbia require children
attending public school to be vaccinated against certain
diseases, including measles and rubella. Exemptions are
allowed in only some circumstances.Dec 16, 2022

Heck I thought it pretty much was a given.... In the 1940s
when I start school the local gov’t sent nurses to schools
to vaccinate all of us. Freebies, get in line for yours.

1 case inbound. How many got it from them we don’t know yet, incubation period can be up to 21 days.

Probably just a BS story meant to stop the spread of the revivals. Doesn’t everyone get measles and chicken pox at some point if they are not vaccinated anyway? This sounds like more of a psyop. A big nothing burger meant to disparage the revival attendees.

Smells like an effort to stop a movement that makes the inner circle nervous. Send in a stooge and use them to shut it down for health and safety reasons.

I’ll bet if it was a BLM or pride rally; or even a chemical spill they would be saying there’s no danger at all.

Oh please. Most of all actual NBC in America have taken all vaxes, The covid jab is not a vaccine and many who refused to have that lethal concoction are not anti vaxers. They are anti experimental gene therapy.

Have you even considered that millions have crossed our southern border with all kinds of disease and have never had any vaxes?

Do not fool yourself. Everyone at that revival has a life where they come in contact with illegals in the state of Kentucky and elsewhere.

No, they are “peaceful protests” with masonry presents handed out to the attendees.

450-500 dead children/year before vaxx.

Not common, widely accepted - but tragic for families who lost a child.

Nice smear there, glad to know you believe the government is always right. Germany had many like you.

I am sure you will be quite happy to escort the neighbors you find undesirable into the box cars.

Your contempt for those of faith is noted.

Might want to also broaden your limited views, not all against the clot shot are anti vaccination, but I see you are not interested in reality, only forcing others to comply with your will.

That you use broad labels to disparage others only serves to enforce your particular brand of petty tyranny.
